How do you spot fake news?
And how can critical thinking help you navigate today’s information overload?

At Golianova Grammar School , students took part in an interactive workshop focused on critical thinking and identifying misinformation. Through real-life examples and discussions, they learned how to question sources, verify information, and not take everything online at face value.

👨‍🏫 The workshop was led by PhD students Mgr. Matúš Valko and Mgr. Mária Pappová, who guided students through practical tools and strategies for thinking critically in the digital world.

Na Gymnáziu Golianova v Nitre sa študenti zúčastnili interaktívneho workshopu, zameraného na kritické myslenie a identifikáciu dezinformácií. Prostredníctvom príkladov zo života, praktických úloh a diskusie sa naučili, ako spochybňovať zdroje, overovať informácie a nebrať všetky online informácie doslovne.

👨‍🏫 Workshop viedli doktorandi Mgr. Matúš Valko a Mgr. Mária Pappová, ktorí študentov previedli praktickými nástrojmi a stratégiami kritického myslenia v digitálnom svete.

Participants explored how different types of prompts shape AI outputs, tried practical examples in our Priscilla system, and learned strategies to guide models like ChatGPT, Copilot, and Gemini more precisely. 💡

From simple prompts to advanced structures, the workshop showed how a few well-chosen words can completely transform what AI creates.

Our introductory FITPED workshop on generative artificial intelligence explored what AI really is and how large language models like ChatGPT, Copilot, and Gemini work. 💡
