European Day of Languages 2021: 20 years celebrating linguistic and cultural diversity - one of many ways to celebrate it is by using The secret agent’s language challenges app 2021 - The challenges and quizzes contained within this app encourage learners – future international agents – to take advantage of the plentiful opportunities available to practice or learn more about a language beyond a classroom context. By passing through a series of levels you can rise from a lowly agent in training to become a master secret agent. You can compete with friends in achieving challenges, identifying countries and languages and completing quizzes. The challenges go from the easy, such as, “count from 1-10 in 3 different languages within one minute” to ones that are a bit more demanding, “together with a friend, write the words to a song/rap in a foreign language.

This year's EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK theme is "Safe and Healthy with Sustainable Mobility".

The choice of this year’s theme pays tribute to the hardships felt by Europe - and the world - throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. It also reflects on the opportunities for change resulting from this unprecedented health crisis in Europe.

Cities and urban administrations have established creative, resilient responses to the pandemic. This year, EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK celebrates the resilience of cities and their achievements, while seeking to sustain this momentum. Trends that began last year, such as increased active mobility and the use of low- or zero-emission mobility, require further promotion.

Mother's Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.On this day, children usually buy gifts and do things for their mothers to show them their love, respect and appreciation. Usually mothers are relieved of all their duties and allowed to rest as the rest of the family takes on their duties. This opportunity should be taken to make sure our mothers, who play makeshift teachers, cooks, doctors, counsellors, friends, and take on any role that is required of them, are treated like queens, even if just for a day.

Europe Day 2021
Every year, we celebrate the Europe Day on 9th May. This is an homage to the Schuman Declaration on 9th May 1950 when Europe was created.
In reason of the pandemic situation in Europe and in the world, the Europe Day 2021 will happen both in and offline on 8 and 9th May 2021.
During this European week-end, most activities from the European civic society and its institutional partners will take place online. At the town hall of Paris, European foodtrucks and exhibitions will promote European cultures, personalities, etc.

During the afternoon of the 9th May, some videos from the civic society will be displayed. It will also be the opportunity for citizens to take part in conferences with experts and members of the European civic society.

3 conferences will take place:
- 4-5 pm : A Green Europe
- 5-6 pm : The role of Europe in a mutipolar world
- 6-7 pm : What place for the culture and youth in Europe after the pandemic crisis?

The Europe Day will finish with the "Music Europe Day" from 7pm, with a online program happening outdoor

Buddík je opäť tu a spolu s ním aj príležitosť NAUČIŤ alebo NAUČIŤ SA. Vďaka Buddíku sa totiž môžeš podeliť o svoje skúsenosti a zručnosti s mladším žiakom, alebo ty sám môžeš byť ten, kto načerpá nové zručnosti vďaka pomoci skúsenejšieho.

♎Stručne o Buddíku

Študenti 1.-3 ročníka stredných škôl(Buddičata) budú spárovaní s inými proaktívnymi stredoškolákmi/vysokoškolákmi(Buddikmi), ktorí im vďaka svojmu aktívnemu životu a skúsenostiam v istom odbore budú schopní poradiť a pomôcť v ich zvolenom cieli.

♎Čo je cieľom Buddíka?

Tento projekt je zameraný na rozvoj stredoškolákov v rôznych oblastiach, osobnostný rast, spoluprácu medzi mladšími a staršími žiakmi a na spoločnú motiváciu.

♎Ako to bude fungovať?

So svojou dvojicou sa budeš stretávať na pravidelnej báze a prispievať k vzájomnému rozvoju. Stretnutia budú prebiehať v online forme. Okrem toho ťa čakajú komunitné stretnutia zamerané na utužovanie kolektívu a zaujímavé workshopy.

♎Kedy to bude prebiehať?
Program začína v apríli 2021 a trvá do konca mája 2021.

♎Ako sa prihlásiť?
Ak sa chceš prihlásiť za Buddika a pomôcť v rozvoji iným, formulár nájdeš dostupný v bio do 14.03.2021
Prihlasovanie pre Buddičatá sa avšak bude spúšťať až 15.03.2021
V prípade privysokého záujmu budú účastníci selektovaní.

Buddikom môže byť primárne akýkoľvek akčný stredoškolák alebo vysokoškolák s definovanou schopnosťou alebo znalosťou, ktorou dokáže obohatiť život niekoho iného.
Buddiča môže byt akýkoľvek študent 1.-3. ročníka strednej školy, ktorý má chuť rozvíjať sa a naučiť sa niečo nové.

Koľko to stojí?
Buddikov bude tento program stáť iba trocha ich času, avšak pre Buddičata sme sa rozhodli stanoviť symbolický poplatok 5€, ktorý bude putovať na účely rozvoja združenia Pre Stredoškolákov.

*Buddik nie je mentoringový program a nikto z účastníkov ani organizátorov nie je platený.*
