Today was our last day on training mats. During our 2 weeks stay, we met fantastic people, had a nice training and good laugh. It was nice to meet you all, hope to see you soon 🙏

In my school it's not only about Silat. My beginning was heavily focused on FMA, which led me to the top of the mountain of all styles, which, from my perspective, is Kalis Ilustrisimo system. Here and there I was always hearing good word around the world about Shawn and his school , but at the same time we never had an opportunity to meet each other in person... until now 😊 Thank you for making this happen.

Shawn, I was very happy to receive an invitation to your class. It was very valuable for me to see you in action and how you teach from the first row. Everyone in class was superb. Special thanks go to Jerome, who was a perfectly patient training partner and I enjoyed every minute with him. I'm stunned in awe of how much you know about swords. Yesterday's session was very inspirational for me. I appreciate very much what you shared with me 🙏

What's the good thing about visiting new places in world? How about seeing an old friend who now lives here. Yeah, sounds good to me.

Those of you who know, you know, but for the rest of you, this is Fabrizio, a highly skilled martial artist, and the man who showed me the way of the sword. Back in the day, we met and trained many times together and each time my group was enriched and amazed at the same time.

It has been years from our last training, and I'm glad we had some time to catch up. Thank you for your time and all the valuable advices or "2 cents" as it was known back in the day 😊

Who knows right, maybe we will see each other in the future somewhere again. See you soon my friend 🙏

Besides all negative things happening around the world, all I wanted to say today is, that I'm grateful for everything.

I'm happy that I was exposed to multiple martial arts styles and to all my teachers along the way. In the beginning, I have started with Inosanto Kali, which later the same style redirected me to Silat Open Circle and Kalis Ilustrisimo. I still consider the 2 last mentioned systems as my main styles because if you discover gold, you have reached your goal.

I'm happy that I met wonderful people in my training classes. Now, they are my close friends and basically part of family. They supported me and shaped me into the version that I am today.

Je to už pár dní dozadu, čo nás opustil veľký fighter, no tentokrát nemyslím pána vľavo. Chuck Norris bol azda prvý Američan, ktorého som videl ako ikonu v high kickoch a s pribúdajúcimi rokmi som videl, že to má stále v sebe. Tvrdá drina, veľa potu a nespočetne sparingových skúseností nemožno odoprieť tejto generácii. Rok 1940 priniesol veľa legiend na svet, Bruce Lee († 1973) aj Chuck Norris († 2026) boli vlastne rovesníci, no iba jeden z nich mal možnosť nás obohatiť svojim časom dlhšie na tejto zemi. Rozhodne bude chýbať viacerým z nás...
