Our Drone / 3D Modeling Club is a space where students can experiment, create, and discover new skills through technology and teamwork.
From learning how to fly drones to designing and printing their own creations, students gain hands-on experience while developing creativity, problem-solving, and confidence.

🏀 In our Year 3 basketball lessons, students are learning so much more than dribbling and shooting.
Every game teaches teamwork, communication, respect, and confidence. They celebrate wins together, support each other through challenges, and discover that success comes from working as one team.
Sometimes they win, sometimes they lose, but every lesson helps them grow.

Little Learners, Big Discoveries at the Police Station 🚓👮♂️
Inside the Police Station: A Real-Life Learning Experience 🚨
As part of our IB transdisciplinary theme “How We Organise Ourselves,” our Year 2 students visited the police station in Trnávka, Bratislava for an exciting hands-on learning experience.
From exploring police cars, uniforms, and protective equipment to learning how police officers help keep our community safe, the visit was both educational and unforgettable.
A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Peter Sáho, the Bratislava police officers, and Mrs. Trajlinkova for making this meaningful experience possible for our students. 💙👮♂️

We are proud to congratulate our student Timo Prieložný on winning 🥇 1st place at the 2026 Slovak Republic Championships for youth and juniors, held in Martin from May 8–10! 🥊🇸🇰
Representing Box Club Ružinov 821, Timo achieved an outstanding result through months of hard work, dedication, and determination. His success is a fantastic accomplishment, and we are very proud of everything he has achieved.
A big thank you also goes to his coaches, teachers, and parents for their continued support throughout his journey. Congratulations, Timo! 👏

The Slovak U16 Championships held in Bratislava were a great sporting and personal achievement for Teo Tarda from Y9. 🏆
A big thank you goes to all the teachers for their understanding, support, and flexibility throughout the entire season. Frequent travelling and school absences due to international competitions were not easy, and without your help it would have been very difficult to balance studying with high-level sports.
Thank you for supporting young athletes on their journey to success. 🙏

Majstrovstvá Slovenska kategórie U16, ktoré sa odohrali v Bratislave, boli pre Tea Tardu z Y9 veľkým športovým aj osobným úspechom. 🏆
Veľké poďakovanie patrí všetkým učiteľom za ich ústretovosť, podporu a pochopenie počas celej sezóny. Časté cestovanie a absencie v škole kvôli medzinárodným súťažiam neboli jednoduché, no bez vašej pomoci by bolo veľmi náročné zvládať štúdium popri vrcholovom športe.
Ďakujeme, že podporujete mladých športovcov na ich ceste za úspechmi. 🙏

🚀 How could plants be grown on Mars?
Our Year 7 students explored this idea through the STEM project Smart Greenhouses on Mars 🌱
Using Micro:bit, sensors, and MakeCode, students created smart greenhouse systems capable of monitoring soil moisture, controlling light levels, and automating watering.
This project combined science, technology, programming, and creativity while giving students hands-on experience with real-world problem solving 👏
Special congratulations to Marin Udiljak for creating a fully functional solution and outstanding project documentation.
🐝 Our Year 2, Year 1, and Preschool students had a wonderful trip to a honey farm in Devínska Nová Ves 🍯
They learned all about bees and their importance for our environment, explored how honey is made, and even saw the process up close.
A sweet highlight of the day was tasting different kinds of honey and choosing their favorites! The children also made their own beeswax candles to take home 🕯️
A fun, hands-on day full of learning, smiles, and great memories!

From silver to selection 🇸🇰✨
Emilia (Year 10) secured 2nd place at the Slovak National Championships and earned her spot at the European Championships in Varna this May.
