How to measure your progress❓How to be sure you are doing right🙄
Since we cannot easily use numbers to objectively measure our level or progress, I recommend to to ask an "independent expert" who can asses how you are doing.
Recently during my Italian conversation class 🇮🇹 I was curious since when I have been having classes with Filippo and if he can remember how was it at the beginning.
Luckily there is such a option on italki😁 you can filter from all your lessons, all your languages and find out how many you had so far, with who do you spend the most of time.

It was so hot🥵
A year ago, together with Matuš we decided to finish our free mini course. We went to Brno (CR) and we were looking for the shadow, as it was at least 29 Celsius degrees.

How do we measure progress⁉️
We can use pure numbers to somehow count the number of words, classes or days on your app🧐
It may take our joy from learning foreign languages, each administration, peripheral activity is taking away the core of our action.
Then it is nice that there are programs, apps, software that is doing it instead of us, totally agree✅
But I think the most important is that the number is greater ↗️
If today you managed to beat yourself, you are on the right path.
When we were shooting our course I had about 500 finished classes on italki, now I can show a higher number by 200 hours.
What does it mean❓ Probably that I won't stop on any given number, it rather shows my personally trait that I am persistent and my attitude has not changed. Learning a foreign language needs time, constant improvements 📈... as long as you enjoy your path do not make any number stop you 🚵♀️
