A Webinar called "Feedback of Teachers" on the outcomes and on the process part of the GW project took place at the Havering College in the UK.
The State Institute of Vocational Education and Training SK visited a partner Havering College, in order to meet teachers involved in a project and discuss some important features of the implementation of the project outcomes, including innovative teaching methods.
The Havieving College has been involved in all stages of a project, including the development, testing and implementation phase which has been well described by teachers during the fruitful discussion. Unlikely some Central European countries, the UK enjoys rich literature on the subject of the maintenance of electric and hybrid vehicles, therefore students may use worksheets during their studies as a reference book and do the research at the same time. However, the instruction, knowledge and mentoring from teachers is a key to the understanding and obtaining of right qualifications needed for the work. Teachers shared their experiences and insights on which innovative teaching methods proved to be most efficient and in which level. They discussed a structure of ECVET Units and shared which chapters, should be given more attention. Therefore the webinars serves also as a reference point to teachers from other schools willing to implement the outcomes of this important pitot project.
