🔸 HER2+ MBC: updates on Destiny-Breast 09 with first line treatment w Enhertu and Perjeta, how long to stay on it, role of maintenance therapy and more.

🔸 Bone modifying medications in MBC: new study on Xgeva 12 weeks vs 4 weeks — every 12 weeks (after a 4 month induction of monthly dosing) showed no impact on efficacy but less side effects with lower risks of low calcium levels and osteonecrosis of the jaw.

1️⃣ The EXTEND trial shows circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) is a powerful prognostic tool that outpaces standard lesion counting, though metastasis-directed therapy benefits patients regardless of ctDNA status.
2️⃣ OLIGOPELVIS-2/GETUG P12 confirms that salvage elective nodal radiotherapy (ENRT) extending to para-aortic nodes has acceptable, manageable long-term side effects.
