„Chcem ísť na Erasmus… ale čo teraz?“

Od prvého nápadu vycestovať až po moment, keď stojíš s kufrom na letisku. 🌍 V novej epizóde Erasmus+ Unpacked rozbaľujeme, ako vyzerá Erasmus+ študijná mobilita naozaj – čo všetko treba vybaviť, na čo myslieť a čo ťa čaká ešte predtým, než vôbec nastúpiš do lietadla.

Našou hostkou je Nicoletta Jašurek Rimarčíková, koordinátorka dlhodobých Erasmus+ študijných mobilít na STU. Erasmus si sama vyskúšala v rôznych životných etapách – a dnes pomáha študentom vycestovať.

💬 V teasri nám prezradila, čo by odkázala svojmu mladšiemu ja pred prvou mobilitou. Teraz sa dozvieš aj:

🎉 An inspiring finale to the EIT Urban Mobility Resilient Cities Summer School 2026!

After an intensive first week in Ljubljana, the second part of the journey continued in Bratislava, where students transformed their ideas into validated, innovative solutions for real-world urban mobility challenges.
During the week at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, participants refined their concepts through workshops, coaching sessions, rapid prototyping, business model development and pitch rehearsals. They also explored Bratislava through a city tour, visited the iconic UFO, and gained valuable insights during a site visit to Alto Real Estate and Nová Tržnica market hall.
The programme culminated in the Final Pitching Event, where six student teams presented their solutions before an expert panel: Lenka Šupolíková, Barbora Šimkovičová, Ľudmila Hodásová and Michal Tobiáš.

🏆 Congratulations to the winning team, Lale Land Solutions, who impressed the jury with their innovative solution for the Architekti Šebo Lichý challenge!
A huge thank you to all students for your creativity, enthusiasm and teamwork, to our challenge providers for bringing real-life challenges, to Kimitisik for their outstanding coaching, to the University of Ljubljana for hosting the first week, and to everyone who contributed as speakers, mentors, jury members and organisers.

When I went to Africa, my family was more stressed than I was, says PhD student Krištof from FCHPT

🦛 Hippos just a few meters from the bed, tea with Bedouins, a forgotten vaccination card, and a journey to Africa that turned into memories for a lifetime.

EULiST Alliance General Assembly in Finland

Representatives of theEULiST Alliance partner universities gathered at LUT University in Finland from May 11–13 for the General Assembly. The meeting aimed to assess the alliance’s progress, strengthen cooperation between universities, and discuss future joint activities in education, research, and innovation.

A delegation from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU) actively participated in expert panels and presentations. STU was represented by Natália Gurská (local coordinators panel), Peter Klimáček (Research and Innovation work package), Peter Morgenstein (sustainability demonstrators), Gregor Rozinaj (AI tools developed within EULiST), and Milan Husár (sustainability and SDGs).

STU local coordinator Natália Gurská noted the strong progress within the consortium and highlighted the significant involvement of STU colleagues at the event.

A key milestone of the General Assembly was the announcement of a new partner institution, the University of Stuttgart, expanding opportunities for student mobility, joint research, and international collaboration.

Strategic discussions focused on the shift “from action to transformation,” emphasizing long-term structural change rather than only increasing project numbers. Priorities include developing shared systems and capacities, building an integrated European academic ecosystem, and ensuring measurable impact on education, research, and society.

The alliance’s long-term goal is to become a fully integrated European university by 2035, contributing to talent development, knowledge creation, and societal impact across Europe.

EULiST (European Universities Linking Society and Technology) is a European university alliance of ten institutions, including STU, aiming to connect technology, science, and society through interdisciplinary education and cooperation.

The General Assembly is one of the alliance’s key annual events, bringing together university leaders, academics, researchers, and students to align strategy, present results, and strengthen collaboration.

Adam strávil svoj Erasmus+ semester v Lotyšsku – a bola to jazda od prvej chvíle. 🇱🇻✈️

Vymenil komfortnú zónu za nové prostredie, medzinárodné projekty a priateľstvá naprieč Európou. Každý deň priniesol niečo nové – či už v škole, alebo mimo nej.

Erasmus+ nie je len mobilita. Je to upgrade pohľadu na svet aj na seba. 🌍✨
