Introducing one Uachtarán to another. 💫

CLRG Uachtarán, Marie Duffy Pask, teachers, and dancers from .official were delighted to perform for an tUachtarán na hÉireann (), Catherine Connolly, at the in London recently.

What a huge opportunity to represent Irish culture abroad! 💚

Every day after class, dance teachers go home and wonder if they’re doing enough.

Sometimes, we wonder if we’re doing too much.
Am I meeting this dancer’s needs? Am I pushing them too hard? Am I pushing them enough? Are they happy? They were quiet tonight, is everything okay? Do they need more one-on-one time? Do they need space? Are they enjoying class? Are they feeling confident? Are they happy in their friendships?
The list is endless.

Because when a child trusts you with their dance journey, you understand the weight of that.
Whether it’s for three years, five years, ten years or more, that journey matters. It is precious.

And just like parents, primary school teachers and secondary school teachers, we go home thinking about the children in our care.
We think about their progress. Their confidence. Their friendships. Their happiness.

Your child’s happiness matters to us. Their confidence matters to us. Their little wins matter to us.
And maybe that’s why we use the phrase *dance family*.

Because for the time they are with us, we don’t just teach them steps. We care about them like they are our own🧡☘️🖤
