✨ On the Main Stage (don’t miss it!):

💃 Chinese Folk Dance – watch our graceful performance, then learn a few moves and dance with us!

🥋 Five-Step Kungfu – a super fun, easy martial arts routine that every child can master in minutes!

🎪 Inside Our Tent – hands‑on activities for all ages:

🏆 Game Challenge
🦶 Ti Jian (Shuttle Kicking) – test your balance and coordination by kicking a feathered shuttlecock – how many times can you keep it in the air?
🏓 Pingping Pongpong – balance a ping‑pong ball on a racket and race along the table – steady hands win!
🏹 Touhu (Pitch‑Pot) – try this ancient Chinese game of skill; throw arrows into a pot and challenge your friends!

🎨 Hands-on China
🧵 Chinese Knotting – create your own lucky knot to take home as a souvenir.
🎭 Peking Opera Mask Painting – design a colourful face mask inspired by traditional Chinese theatre.
🖌️ Chui Hua (Blow Painting) – use your breath to make amazing ink art – simple, surprising, and so much fun!

All activities are free, hands‑on, and suitable for children of all ages (parents are welcome to join too!). No prior knowledge needed – just bring your curiosity and energy!

📍 Where? At the Hura Prázdniny 2026 festival – we’ll be in the main activity area under the Chinese tent.

🌏 Travelers Club: Let's Travel Through China Together 🌏

The Confucius Institute for Business at Matej Bel University and Window of Shanghai at Štátna vedecká knižnica v Banskej Bystrici cordially invite you to the second lecture in our series, in which we share local tips on what’s truly worth seeing in this diverse and beautiful country.

❄️ Last time, we took you to Harbin (the City of Ice) and Dalian (the City of Romance) in northeastern China.
🌸 This time, we're heading to southwestern China – to Kunming (the City of Spring) and the earthly paradise of Shangri-La!

We were truly delighted by the students’ enthusiasm and how quickly they embraced all the activities! From trying out their first Chinese phrases to practicing martial arts movements and experiencing tea culture, their joy and curiosity made the entire visit especially meaningful and memorable.

We would also like to sincerely thank Dotyk Ružomberok for organizing this second visit and for your continued friendship. It is always a great pleasure to return, and we deeply appreciate the opportunity to share these moments together. We are already looking forward to future visits. 😊

Chinese Conversation Club – join us again!
After a great first meeting (where we all introduced ourselves), we’re ready for round two!

Come practice your Chinese in a relaxed, friendly environment.
We’ll start with a short topic presentation (useful vocabulary + grammar), then dive into guided dialogue and free conversation.

📍 Where: Window of Shanghai Center, State Scientific Library, Banská Bystrica (Lazovná 9)
