with TRADITIONAL BIKE I man pretty much any bike that without battery, but in reality some bikes are better that others . There seems to be a lot of mid level 26" wheel size MTB around , and such a bike is the ideal candidate for a donor bike. However, the different frame shape might make one type easier than the other. How is that? the reason is simple: you don't worry about up and downs in the hilly area, you will not be too sweaty if you are going for a meeting, you go further than your usual distance because you have a back up.
