Prof. Kajfež Bogataj is a Slovenian climatologist, professor and Head of the Centre for Biometeorology at the University of Ljubljana. She is a member of the 🌐 UN Intergovernmental Panell on Climate Change and is the joint🎗️recipient of the for the efforts towards raising public awarenes about the consequences of the warming of the atmosphere. 🏔️

♻️Professor Kajfež Bogaraj will address climate change as one of the most significant threats to World Heritage properties.🏛️

Maria Gravari-Barbas,
the Coordinator of the Network "Culture, Tourism and Developmemt" at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.

🏛️🔹Her research interests are tourism studies and cultural heritage, with a focus on tourism in World Heritage Sites.

She advocates heritage tourism research agenda to move beyond classic approaches that consider the relationship between heritage and tourism either as problematic or as a factor for local development - "Heritage and tourism are two reciprocally supported social phenomena that are co-produced," she claims.
