Danes praznuješ ti !

10 let nazaj si odprl svoja vrata, vrata vrtcu Fridolin. Odprl si jih iskreno, z najboljšimi nameni ponuditi otrokom vrtca Fridolin okolje kjer se združijo srčnost, kreativnost, radost, odprtost, igrivost, spoštljivost… Okolje, kjer ljubezen ne pozna meja.
Veliko čudovitih, na trenutke prav neverjetnih dogodkov, smo skupaj doživeli. Hvala ti! Vse to pa se ne bi zgodilo brez najboljših sodelavk, ekipe, ki dnevno usmerja svojo energijo v ljubezen do svojega poslanstva. Zato danes ne praznuješ samo ti, dragi Frido, praznujemo vsi !

Želim nam, da se ta čudovita zgodba nadaljuje tudi v prihodnje in dragi mi vsi - na zdravje na naslednjih deset let!

Today, you celebrate!

Ten years ago, you opened the doors of Fridolin Kindergarten. You opened them with sincerity and the best intentions — to create a space where warmth, creativity, joy, openness, playfulness, and respect come together. A space where love knows no bounds.
Over the years, we’ve shared many extraordinary — sometimes even unbelievable — moments. Thank you! But none of it would have been possible without the best colleagues: a team that pours its energy every day into the love of its mission.
That’s why today, dear Frido, you're not celebrating alone — we are all celebrating!

I hope this incredible story continues for many years to come. Dear all, cheers to the next ten years!

Our children had a blast going horse riding! 🐴 They met two super sweet ponies, spent some time getting to know them, and then everyone got a turn to hop on and ride. It not only boosts confidence but also helps the kids form a special bond with animals. A day full of smiles, learning, and pony cuddles!💕🐎

Danes v Fridolinu praznujemo svetovni dan čebel. Pogovarjali smo se o tem, zakaj so čebelice pomembne za naravo in kako jih lahko varujemo. Ogledali smo si tudi zanimivo predstavo o čebelicah, ki je otroke navdušila in nasmejala. Ustvarjali smo, peli in se igrali na temo pridnih opraševalk.

Today we celebrate World Bee Day in Fridolin. We discussed why bees are so important for nature and how we can help protect them. The children enjoyed a fun and educational show about bees, created bee-themed crafts, sang songs, and played games.
Thank you, bees, for helping our world bloom!

From the Garden to the Table is a special week here at Fridolin, when we talk about food. How vegetables grow & what it takes for them to come all the way on our plate. We encourage our children to think about it and be thankful for everything we have.
We tried out different things that we can do with a potatoe. We planted it and did art with it and made delicious potatoe hash browns. We will definitely share and try this recipe with our loved ones!

The children of Fridolin Kindergarten took part in a swimming course. Through play and lots of splashing fun, they learned the basics of swimming and built up their confidence in the water.

Fridolin's children set off on an adventure to the Botanical garden! With the help of our kind guides Katja and Maja, we explored different plants and were especially fascinated by the carnivorous ones and, of course, the wonderfully fragrant vanilla.

Each of us planted a small live-bearing plant in our own pot, and we can’t wait to watch it grow! To finish off our visit, we took a walk through the outdoor garden, admiring the first signs of spring.

Today, we took a walk to the library where the children enjoyed listening to a story read by the librarian. Afterward, they explored the shelves and chose books to borrow. With our new books in hand, we headed back to kindergarten, excited to continue our reading adventures!

Gregorjevo je dan, ko naši otroci z največjim veseljem v bližnji Glinci spustijo "gregorčke", ki so jih izdelali sami. Skupaj preverimo ali plujejo ali potonejo in poskrbimo, da jih pravočasno vzamemo nazaj na suho.

St. Gregory's day is a special day, when our children released their own "Gregorian lanterns" into the nearby stream "Glinca". Together we checked whether they float or sink and made sure we get them back to dry land in time.

V sklopu našega projekta Umetnost z Fridom smo se tokrat podali na pustolovščino v gozd. Tokrat je bil na vrsti slikar Jackson Po***ck, vendar smo se odločili, da združimo umetnost in naravo.
Najprej smo v gozdu poiskali posebne čopiče – veje, storže in druge naravne materiale, ki so postali naši ustvarjalni pripomočki. Nato smo poiskali tudi primerno barvo – blato, listje, vse, kar nam je narava ponudila.
Ustvarjanje se je lahko začelo! Špricanje, skakanje, slikanje – bilo je pravo veselje! Naš končni izdelek je res nekaj posebnega – umetnost, ki je nastala z dotikom narave.
Ponovno smo dokazali, da umetnost ne pozna meja – ustvarjali smo v naravi, ob tem pa smo se zabavali in uživali v vsakem trenutku.

As part of our Art with Frido project, we embarked on an adventure in the forest. This time, we focused on the artist Jackson Po***ck, but we decided to combine art and nature.
First, we searched the forest for special brushes – branches, pinecones, and other natural materials that became our creative tools. Then, we found the perfect paint – mud, leaves, anything nature had to offer.
The creation process could begin! Spraying, jumping, painting – it was pure joy! Our final artwork is truly special – art created with a touch of nature.
Once again, we proved that art knows no boundaries – we created in nature and had fun while doing it.

Tudi v Fridolinu smo dan namenili obeleženju Slovenskega kulturnega praznika. Vzgojiteljice so se prelevile v prave gledališke igralke in za otroke pripravile predstavo Apel in čevljar. Zatem so se otroci z veseljem preizkusili še v vlogi pesnika, čevljarja in slikarja.

Also, Fridolin is dedicated to celebrating the Slovenian cultural holiday. Our kindergarten teachers turned into real theater actresses and prepared a play called Apel and the Shoemaker for the children. After the show, the children joyfully tried their hand at being poets, shoemakers, and painters
