Today and tomorrow UL SEB is hosting the 𝗟𝗷𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗷𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽, an international multidisciplinary workshop that brings together scientists and experts from the fields of economics, finance, marine biology, project leaders, public policy representatives, and financiers. The aim of the workshop is to develop a common framework for the high-quality, measurable, and feasible restoration of Posidonia oceanica seagrass, one of the key Mediterranean marine ecosystems and an important blue natural capital of the seas and oceans.

The workshop is hosted and organised by UL SEB in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in Slovenia, and is conceptually designed by As.Prof. Sandra Damijan (UL SEB), Prof. Carlos M. Duarte (KAUST), Jan Pachner (One Ocean Foundation), and Theresa Zabell (Ecomar Foundation).
