V petek, 3. 10. 2025, smo zaključili s projektom "Stare igre v novem času". Obiskala nas je novinarka srbske televizije "Una", predstavnika z občine Novega Beograda sta vsem udeležencem Erasmus+ projektov podelila certifikate, učenci pa so na zadnji aktivnosti tega tedna strnili in delili svoje vtise. Po kosilu se bomo počasi odpravili proti glavni avtobusni postaji in se z lepimi spomini odpeljali nazaj proti Ljubljani.

On Friday, October 3, 2025, we concluded the project “Old Games in a New Era.” We were visited by a journalist from the Serbian television channel “Una.” Two representatives from the Municipality of New Belgrade awarded certificates to all participants of the Erasmus+ projects, while the students summarized and shared their impressions during the final activity of the week. After lunch, we will slowly head to the main bus station and, with fond memories, make our way back to Ljubljana

V četrtek, 2. 10. 2025, smo dopoldne preživeli v družbi najboljšega srbskega rokoborca Davorja Štefaneka. Prek intervjuja smo izvedeli veliko podrobnosti o njegovi bogati športni poti in kakšen je skrivni recept za osvojitev zlate olimpijske medalje (Rio, 2016). Učenci so se potem s kvizom Kahoot pomerili v poznavanju pravil starih iger. Nato so ustvarili delčke, ki bodo sestavljali novo podlago za igro "Školica" in se naučili tradicionalni ples "Užičko kolo". Po kosilu smo si ogledali kratko kulturno prireditev, ki so jo pripravili učenci OŠ "Jovan Sterija Popović" ter se udeležili učne ure športa v njihovi telovadnici.

On Thursday, October 2, 2025, we spent the morning in the company of the best Serbian wrestler, Davor Štefanek. Through an interview, we learned many details about his rich sports career and discovered the secret recipe for winning an Olympic gold medal (Rio, 2016). Afterwards, the students competed in a Kahoot quiz testing their knowledge of the rules of traditional games. Then they created pieces that will form a new base for the game "Školica" (Hopscotch) and learned the traditional dance "Užičko kolo". After lunch, we attended a short cultural event prepared by the students of Jovan Sterija Popović Primary School and participated in a physical education class in their gym.

V sredo, 1. 10. 2025, smo se v gostujoči šoli OŠ "Jovan Sterija Popović" zbrali udeleženci dveh Erasmus+ projektov "Stare v novem in času" in "Walk around the Earth". Skupaj smo se odpravili do sprehajališča "Savski kej" in od tam z ladjico do rečnega otoka "Ada Ciganlija". Tam so učenci v mešanih ekipah tekmovali v starih igrah. Po skupnem kosilu in druženju smo se ustavili v enem izmed modernih nakupovalnih središč. S tem je bil pester in tekmovalen dan končan.

On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, participants of two Erasmus+ projects, “Old Games in a New Era” and “Walk Around the Earth,” gathered at the host school, “Jovan Sterija Popović” Primary School. Together, we went to the “Savski Kej” promenade and from there took a boat to the river island “Ada Ciganlija.” There, students competed in traditional games in mixed teams. After a shared lunch and socializing, we stopped at one of the modern shopping centers. This concluded an eventful and competitive day.

V torek, 30. 9. 2025, smo v šoli ob listanju digitalne knjige drug drugemu predstavili tradicionalne igre Srbije, Hrvaške in Slovenije. Učenci so potem na prtičke iz blaga narisali znamenitosti svoje države in se vključili na platformo eTwinning. Po kosilu smo s tramvajem odšli do ene največjih pravoslavnih cerkva na svetu "Hrama Svetog Save". S trolejbusom smo se odpeljali do starega mestnega jedra, se tam sprehodili in podružili.

On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at school we presented traditional games from Serbia, Croatia, and Slovenia to each other while browsing through a digital book. Afterwards, the students drew landmarks of their countries on fabric napkins and joined the eTwinning platform. After lunch, we took a tram to one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world, the “Temple of Saint Sava.” Then we took a trolleybus to the old city center, where we walked around and spent some time together.

V ponedeljek, 29. 9. 2025, so nam na OŠ "Jovana Sterija Popović" pripravili prijazen sprejem. V šoli nas je, vse sodelujoče v projektu "Stare igre v novem času", nagovoril ravnatelj. Nato smo obudili spomine na pretekle aktivnosti tega projekta v Ljubljani in Reki ter ustvarili sporočila, ki smo jih obesili na drevo prijateljstva. Med tem smo se naučili tudi nekaj črk cirilice. Popoldne smo odšli na izlet z ladjico po sotočju Donave in Save vse do "Beograda na vodi". Ob reki smo se sprehodili do Zemuna, kjer smo se povzpeli do stolpa "Kula Gardoš" in si iz druge perspektive ogledali Beograd.

On Monday, September 29, 2025, we were warmly welcomed at the “Jovan Sterija Popović” Primary School. The headmaster addressed all participants of the project “Old Games in a New Era.” We then reminisced about previous activities of this project in Ljubljana and Rijeka and created messages that we hung on the Tree of Friendship. In the process, we also learned a few Cyrillic letters. In the afternoon, we went on a boat trip along the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers all the way to “Belgrade Waterfront.” We then took a walk along the river to Zemun, where we climbed up to the “Gardoš Tower” and enjoyed a different perspective of Belgrade.

V petek, 11. 4. 2025, so učenci 4. in 5. razreda sodelovali na šolski olimpijadi, da so zaznamovali svetovni dan zdravja, ki ga obeležujemo 7. aprila. Tekmovali so v štafetnih igrah, ki so jih igrali nekoč. Pomerili so se v nogometu, hodili na hoduljah, skakali v žakljih in čez kolebnice.

V starih športnih igrah so se pomerili učenci 4. a, 4. b, 4. c in 4. d, v naslednjem tekmovanju pa še učenci 5. a, 5. b, 5. c in 5. d.

V spodnji galeriji si lahko ogledate nekaj utrinkov. Več kot očitno je, da nam borbenosti ni manjkalo.

On Friday, 11/04/2025, 4th and 5th grade students participated in the school Olympiad to mark World Health Day, which is celebrated on April 7. They competed in the relay games they used to play. They competed in football, walked on stilts, jumped in jacks and over swings.

In the old sports games, students of 4th a, 4th b, 4th c and 4th d competed, and in the next competition also students of 5th a, 5th b, 5th c and 5th d.

You can see some highlights in the gallery below. It is more than obvious that we did not lack fighting spirit.
