In Toastmasters, everyone can become president. :-)

The idea that the leadership team in a Toastmasters club changes every year is well thought out. This way, a club gets new ideas and fresh energy from the new board members. Plus everyone in the club has a chance to practice and upgrade their skills as a leader or in various other positions.
It is also very democratic.😁

At this meeting, we will be electing a new board.

This is precisely what happened at our 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 - 𝐅𝐔𝐋𝐋 - 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞. 🏠 It was a splendid mix of energy between current members, guests, and former members. We are thrilled that so many new people joined us.

𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬
💎 Brigita Tomas opened the meeting beautifully and introduced the Toastmasters community.
💎 Marija Vavpotič delivered a energetic speech about her journey from deep public speaking trauma years ago to thriving on stage with the help of Toastmasters.
💎 Matjaž Gerčar intrigued us by claiming to be a "hacker." It turned out he is a hacker of efficiency, and he shared several valuable tips.
💎 Katja Šuštar pitched her two books. When she was working at a kindergarten, she noticed some animals didn't have their own songs, so she wrote them herself and published two books. Pretty cool, ha?

𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐬 & 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬
As Table Topics Master, Goran Klobučar prepared a set of questions about the benefits of Toastmasters, and some easy questions for the guests. We didn't want to scare them away. :-))))

It is always inspiring to see first-time visitors step onto the stage to test their skills. 👏👏 👏 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝! 👏👏👏 So many great impromptu stories.

Evaluations are the best part of the TM. This time the boss of evaluation was Eva Murko with the help of Scott Jewell, Aljoša Jamnik, Kim Potočnik, Dr. Matej Miklavec coaching and Katarina Gavrič.

We mingled after the meeting ang get to know each other better. 🌞

Public speaking skills are still important in today's world. Anyone can improve within our supportive environment, therefore, stop sitting around at home or just trying to speak in front of your mirror and come to us. :-))))
