QSI International School of Ljubljana

www.ljubljana.qsi.org Non profit international school organization founded in 1971 serving diplomatic, development, and business families in 25+ countries.

Quality Schools International (QSI) is a non-profit school organization that was founded in 1971 with the express purpose of staffing qualified, experienced, and caring teachers in private international schools around the world. Starting in Saana, Yemen, in 1971, QSI has since grown to 35+ schools in 25+ countries spanning four continents. QSI employs a Mastery Learning approach to education ensuring success for our students. Mastery Learning is an educational model describing a focused and powerful way of organizing curriculum (what is taught) and instruction (the way it is taught) in such a manner as to provide the best opportunity for a student to not just learn but master the material that is being presented. Here at Quality Schools International, success for all is not just our motto, it is our belief. At QSI we believe in teaching the whole child, and to that extent, we teach both our accredited curriculum and also the Seven Success Orientations: Responsibility, Kindness & Politeness, Concern for Others, Group Interaction, Aesthetic Appreciation, Independent Endeavor, and Trustworthiness. Only through a complete education can a child enjoy a successful and rich life, and here at QSI we are committed to providing just that. QSI schools around the globe are serving families from diverse backgrounds. Primarily QSI students come from diplomatic, development, and business families, but it is the needs of the community that define the structure of each school. Schools range in size from just a small handful of students to our largest schools with over 1000 students enrolled. Quality Schools International enjoys financial support from the US Government Office of Overseas Schools and is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (USA). Welcome to Quality Schools International!

Mission: The mission of Quality Schools International (QSI) is to keep the urge to learn alive in every child in QSI schools. Our schools are established to provide in the English language a quality education for students in the cities we serve. We believe that all of our students can succeed, that their successes encourage them to continue in a pattern of success, and that it is the schools' responsibility to provide the conditions for success.
