At the Slovenian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship (April 11–12, 2026), the annual national competition in Slovenia, our student Laura Marinko (member of Rhythmic Gymnastics Club Narodni dom) achieved an excellent result:

Lors du Championnat de Slovénie de gymnastique rythmique (11–12 avril 2026), la compétition nationale annuelle, notre élève Laura Marinko (membre du club Narodni dom) a obtenu un excellent résultat :

🥇 1ère place au cerceau (massues) dans la catégorie pré-juniors, groupe A2.

Nous sommes très fiers de son engagement, de son travail et de cette belle réussite. Bravo Laura ! 🌟

🌱 A day at the Botanical Garden

Our PS/MS class enjoyed a wonderful day exploring the botanical garden in Ljubljana 🌿

Inside the greenhouse, students discovered a wide variety of plants — from tropical species like cocoa and vanilla to impressive giant leafy plants, palms, orchids and cacti.
🌼 They also learned how to plant their own plants, gaining hands-on experience and connecting with nature.
🥪 We ended the day with a relaxing snack among the gardens, followed by a peaceful moment by the pond, where we watched ducks and turtles swimming.

🌱 Une journée au jardin botanique

Notre classe de PS/MS a passé une magnifique journée au jardin botanique de Ljubljana 🌿

Dans la serre, les élèves ont découvert une grande variété de plantes — des plantes tropicales comme le cacao et la vanille, ainsi que de grandes plantes impressionnantes, des palmiers, orchidées et cactus.
🌼 Ils ont également appris à planter eux-mêmes des plantes, une activité pratique au plus près de la nature.
🥪 La journée s’est terminée par un goûter dans les jardins, suivi d’un moment calme près de l’étang, où nous avons observé des canards et des tortues.

🎨 Comic Workshop: Exploring Fake News

Our middle school students recently took part in a creative workshop led by Elisabeth Metaxas, focusing on the theme of fake news and media literacy.

🧠 The project combined creativity, critical thinking, and storytelling:
• Students discovered how a comic page is structured (panels, layout, storytelling).
• They imagined and developed their own fake news stories.
• They began sketching their comic strips, from first ideas to visual storytelling.

✏️ During the second session, they:
• Designed their page layouts,
• Refined their narratives,
• Started drawing their final comic pages.

This workshop encourages students not only to express themselves artistically, but also to reflect on misinformation and how it spreads.

🎨 Atelier BD : réfléchir aux fake news

Nos collégiens ont participé à un atelier créatif animé par Elisabeth Metaxas, autour du thème des fake news et de l’éducation aux médias.

🧠 Ce projet a mêlé créativité, réflexion critique et narration :
• Les élèves ont découvert comment organiser une planche de BD (cases, mise en page, narration).
• Ils ont imaginé et développé leurs propres fake news.
• Ils ont commencé les croquis de leur planche, de l’idée initiale au dessin.

✏️ Lors de la deuxième séance, ils ont :
• Réfléchi à la mise en page,
• Structuré leur histoire,
• Commencé les premiers dessins de leur BD.

Cet atelier permet aux élèves de développer leur créativité tout en prenant du recul face aux fausses informations.

This year, we had the opportunity to discover Rainer Maria Rilke (1875–1926), an Austrian poet, as part of our German lessons.
Thanks to the Goethe-Institut Ljubljana, we were provided with materials about his life and work, allowing students to explore his poetic world.
On this occasion, Laura Marinko (5th grade) created a comic strip inspired by the poem Der Panther.

Cette année, nous avons eu la chance de découvrir Rainer Maria Rilke (1875–1926), poète autrichien, dans le cadre des cours d’allemand.
Grâce à Goethe-Institut Ljubljana, un dossier sur sa vie et son œuvre a été mis à notre disposition, permettant aux élèves d’explorer son univers poétique.
À cette occasion, Laura Marinko (5e) a réalisé une bande dessinée inspirée du poème Der Panther (La Panthère).
