[VABILO NA KONCERT] Slovenski mladinski orkester 🎶🎻 z dirigentko Živo Ploj Peršuh koncertno leto začenja 1. marca, v Gallusovi dvorani Cankarjevega doma.

V okviru 6. Zimskega festivala se bomo predstavili z novim programom, z nami pa b***a tudi odlična, svetovno znana solista Robert Lakatoš iz Srbije 🇷🇸 in Arthur Stockel 🇱🇺 iz Luksemburga.

Dear Friends and Colleagues

I am very happy to announce that we have signed Slovenian conductor Živa Ploj Peršuh for general management worldwide.

Based in Ljubljana, Živa has worked for many years at the Slovene National Theatre Opera. More recently she has created the Slovenian Youth Orchestra and taken on the huge challenge of establishing the artistic and humanitarian project Music for the Future, to assist with the evacuation and integration of young Ukrainian musicians. To date she has helped 142 musicians relocate from the Ukraine to Ljubljana and integrate into life in Slovenia. From this group of musicians she has formed a symphony orchestra which has performed in Slovenia, as well as in Austria, Croatia, Germany and beyond. No mean feat!

Aside from her own ambitious projects Živa has been a regular guest conductor with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestras of the Slovene National Theatre in Maribor and Ljubljana, and the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra. She has conducted in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the UK and many countries across Europe and North Africa. As well as being passionate about opera she has a broad symphonic repertoire and is firmly dedicated to Slovenian new music.

We look forward to developing Živa’s career internationally and helping her to achieve a well-deserved platform for her wonderful talent and energy beyond Slovenia.
