Performance psychotherapy in sports is an independent scientific discipline that places increasing responsibility on psychotherapists, demanding broad professional and specialized knowledge from complementary fields, ensuring that clients receive the best possible care for their mental health issues. Students are engaged in various training programs covering sports, science, clinical dietetics, fitness, medicine, and other specialized knowledge, skills, and competencies throughout their studies.

The multimodal psychotherapeutic education program is designed according to the standards of the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP), incorporating various psychotherapeutic approaches to foster a broader understanding and application of different methods in practice. This specific program focuses primarily on logotherapy, which constitutes two-thirds of the overall curriculum, while the remaining one-third encompasses other modalities, such as psychoanalytic, reality therapy, systemic family therapy, transactional analysis, positive psychology, sports psychotherapy, child and adolescent therapy, and gerontological psychotherapy. This structure allows participants to gain in-depth knowledge and skills in logotherapy while also familiarizing themselves with a range of other therapeutic modalities, enhancing their flexibility and breadth in therapeutic practice.

WHY CHOOSE MULTIMODAL PSYCHOTHERAPY STUDY?

Within the specialist study, students acquire the knowledge and competencies necessary for effectively conducting the psychotherapeutic process. They learn and clarify what is essential to master for work in individual, group, couples, family, or other psychotherapeutic settings. These instructors share their extensive experience through a personal approach and interdisciplinary collaboration. The study is conducted in person in Ljubljana and its surroundings, and can also be offered remotely.
