We are incredibly proud of our students and their outstanding IGCSE achievements! 🌟

From completing Fast-Track Italian one year ahead of schedule, to achieving an A (8) in Fast-Track Spanish, and preparing for IGCSE exams in just five months — these results are a wonderful reflection of our students’ dedication, determination and hard work. 👏

A huge congratulations to our A Level students! 🎉

Today, our students received their results from their first year of A Level examinations, and we couldn’t be prouder of their hard work, dedication and achievements.

From 100% of students achieving an A in Spanish to 100% achieving a B in Economics, and many more fantastic results across Psychology and Business, these achievements are a wonderful reflection of the commitment of both our students and teachers.

A special congratulations to Eneya Bizjak, Hana Nada Legisa and Mia Goličić for their outstanding achievements!

This is an important milestone, but there’s still one more year ahead. Keep learning, growing and aiming even higher! 📚

Growing confident readers, one book at a time. 📚🌳

At Koper International School, we use the Oxford Reading Tree programme to help children develop strong reading skills, confidence, and a genuine love of books.

Oxford Reading Tree is one of the UK’s most trusted reading schemes, carefully designed to support children as they progress from learning to read to reading independently. With engaging stories, memorable characters, and books matched to each child’s reading level, every student is challenged and supported at their own pace.

Last year, the programme was available to our Year 1 and Year 2 students. We’re excited to share that from this academic year, Oxford Reading Tree will be introduced across the entire Primary School (Years 1–6), giving all of our primary learners access to a structured and engaging reading journey.

Would your family like to open your home to an international student and enjoy a unique cultural experience?🌎📚
We are currently looking for welcoming host families to support students joining Koper International School.

At the moment, we are looking for a host family for our new student joining us this September.
He is a 16-year-old student from Russia who is excited to begin his studies at Koper International School and become part of our community.
He is polite, motivated, and looking forward to this new chapter of his life.

As a host family, you would be expected to provide:
A private/shared bedroom
Breakfast and dinner on school days (and meals during weekends and holidays)
Transport to and from school
A welcoming family environment
In return, the host family will receive approximately 600-700€ per month, intended to cover accommodation, meals, transport, and other related expenses.

Hosting an international student is a wonderful opportunity to:
Experience a different culture and language
Build lifelong friendships
Give your children an enriching international experience
Help a young person feel at home while studying abroad
