We have taken the deservedly popular concept of a luxury chalet holiday, as often enjoyed by winter sports enthusiasts, and adapted the idea for walking holidays. In brief, this means you stay in a grand old house, with truly personal service, luxury accommodation and superb food - in our view an essential part of any walking holiday! Each day you have an excellent breakfast, followed by the optio
n of enjoying an accompanied walk (5 days a week). On your return you are served tea with homemade cake, and after a couple of hours to relax, (perhaps enjoying a dip in our huge whirlpool bath), you are offered an aperitif and canapés, followed by a delicious 3 course dinner using mainly local ingredients, much grown organically ourselves in season. Quality wine is served free of charge during dinner, and you eat in true chalet tradition around one big table, which makes for a convivial and social evening. In addition, staying in one centre allows you to completely relax and unwind – no tedious packing and unpacking, no valuable holiday time wasted waiting for transport as we have our own air-conditioned minibus; no deadline to have to walk a certain distance to get to your next bed… instead you just leave everything to us, so you can relax and enjoy every minute of your holiday! The entire house is non-smoking, and we regret we do not accept children under the age of 14.
