🙏🏽
Lord Hanuman stood at the ocean’s edge and hesitated.
It was Jambavan who reminded him of his own boundless power. Sometimes that is all we need — a reminder of the strength already within us.
And then he leapt. Not into certainty. Into trust.
The world right now feels like that ocean. Vast. Turbulent. Unmeasurable. And within us — the same storm mirrors back.
Yet the teaching hasn’t changed. The chaos outside is not the obstacle. Forgetting who we are — that is.
And so it is with our practice. Not waiting until we feel strong enough — but trusting the strength that was always already there.
I was fortunate to capture this image at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune — the very place where Guruji and the teachers have for decades reminded students of exactly that. 🙏🏽
The second image shows Hanumanasana — and then the bow. The leap held in the legs, the surrender expressed through the fold.
Jai Hanuman 🙏🏽
