In the Kitchen!

Previously we learnt basic "Fruit & Vegetables" and "What's in the Fridge?" We made pizza and smoothies to review and get some hands-on learning!

Visit "Mladinska knjiga – Oxford Center" (Kopitarjeva 2, Ljubljana) every first Wednesday of the month in the afternoon for free children's linguistic and creative workshops, open to all 4-9 year olds who would like to learn a few new words in a foreign language – English, German, Spanish, Italian and French.

Kid summer workshops around Bled in August – reserve your day now!

Center šolskih in obšolskih dejavnosti http://www.csod.si/ hosted a week-long German and English kids' camp in Bohinj. In the English class we learnt about plants, animals, and landscape in the Triglav National Park (TNP). With these words we created story characters, board games, and shared our final stories on Friday. We played a lot of games in between workshops. We also got outside and went for a nature scavenger hunt!

We spent a few hours playing hiking from the cafe, Krpin, to the mountain hut, Sankaška koča. Along the way we looked for the red and white hiking trail dots where we got a clue to our nature hike crossword puzzle. At the top we had a snack and played English games, learning about plants and animals that you can find in Slovenia.
