I am Miss Tay, a Full-Time Home based Piano Teacher in Singapore. I have been teaching since 2009 to students of all ages and levels from as Young as 3½ to teenagers and to working adults. ✨ A Little Throwback to Our Piano Recital — 27 June 2026 🎹

A very belated post, but some memories are simply too special not to share. 🤍

Back on 27 June, our students came together for an afternoon of music, courage and beautiful moments. Seeing each of them step onto the stage and perform was such a proud moment.

Behind every performance were weeks and months of practice, patience, perseverance and, of course, plenty of encouragement along the way. 🎶

A recital is never just about playing the right notes. It is also about learning to perform with confidence, overcoming nerves, expressing yourself through music, and celebrating how far you have come.

I’m incredibly proud of every student who took part. Each performance was special in its own way, and I hope they will look back on this recital as another wonderful milestone in their musical journey. 🌷

A big thank you as always to all the parents for your support and encouragement. It truly means so much. ❤️

It brings me great joy to share that my student has achieved Grade 8 with Merit at the age of 11.

This achievement is the result of steady effort, thoughtful guidance, and a learning environment built on encouragement and trust.

Behind every success is a team effort — the student’s dedication, the parents’ constant support, and my commitment to nurturing both strong foundations and musical understanding at a pace suited to the child.

I believe in providing carefully guided piano education that balances discipline with warmth, helping students grow not only in results, but also in confidence and love for music.

I'm beyond proud to announce that Elijah has achieved an ARSM in Music Performance (Diploma in Piano) with Distinction! We have opt for Face to face exams back in Sept and the results just came in.🎖️✨

This incredible milestone is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and passion for music. Watching him grow and develop as a pianist has been such a rewarding experience, and this achievement is just the beginning of many more musical successes ahead.

🎶🎹 Recital Recap: Get together during the September Holidays! 🌟🎹🎶

Dear all,

I am thrilled to share the wonderful moments from last Saturday's piano recital at my studio, which took place on September 9th, 2023. It was a morning filled with talent, dedication, and the joy of music!

🎼 From classical pieces to modern melodies, my incredible students poured their hearts and souls into their performances. Each note they played resonated with passion, and I couldn't be prouder of their hard work.

👏 Let's give a round of applause to these amazing young musicians who took the performance and shared their musical journeys with all of us. Your commitment to music is inspiring, and it was truly an honor to be your teacher.

Happy Piano Day, everyone! 🎹🎉 Today is not only a celebration of beautiful music, but it also happens to be my birthday! 🥳

And I have some exciting news to share - I've shifted my piano studio location and students will be having their lessons on a GRAND PIANO! 🎶🎉

I'm beyond thrilled to be able to share my love of music with others and help students of all ages and skill levels learn to play the piano. If you're looking to start or improve your piano playing, come check out my new studio and let's make some beautiful music together! 🎵💕

Thankful for my BFFs to be celebrating my birthday with me! We had a lot of fun and also share insightful ideas on how to improve teaching with our students.

We have 3 graduates from Grade 8 theory and practical.

4 of our students scored Merit & distinction for their Grade 2 and Grade 5 practical.
