The era before Racial Harmony Day (July). Do you know that YTSS students in the early years actually wore ethnic costumes of their choice to school for National Day celebrations in August?

(FYI: Our juniors presently wear red-white outfits for National Day celebrations in school, focusing on patriotic national themes. Ethnic costumes are meant for Racial Harmony Day. We understand this is standardized across all schools in Singapore.)

The North West CDC Volunteers’ Awards 2026 which took place last Saturday (23 May) celebrates volunteers, partners and changemakers who continue making a meaningful difference among communities in the Northwest Region through the spirit of a We-First society.
