🍳✨ Term 2 Excursion Highlights: A Day at Little Cook! ✨🍕

Our little chefs had an amazing time at Little Cook for this term’s excursion! 👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳

The children got hands-on with cooking and learned about ingredients in the most fun and interactive way. It was a great opportunity for them to explore creativity and independence through food! 🍕🥗🍪

After all the hard work in the kitchen, the children enjoyed some well-deserved playtime at the indoor playground — a perfect way to unwind, laugh, and bond with their family and friends. 🤸‍♀️💫

A wholesome day filled with learning, laughter, and lots of happy memories! ❤️

We are writing to express our heartfelt appreciation for the incredible infant care team at Sunflower Yishun.

As first-time parents, the decision to leave our baby in someone else’s care was a significant and emotional one. There were many questions and anxieties as we imagine most new parents face — but from the very first day, the infant care team, led by Teacher Shermaine, put us at ease.

Alongside her, Teacher Iris, Teacher Peishi, Teacher Lydia and Li Laoshi, as well as the entire infant care team have also played an essential role in Hansel’s day-to-day experience. Each one brings a thoughtful and genuine approach to caring for the infants.

Thanks to this dedicated and attentive team, and your strong leadership — we are able to head to work each day with complete confidence that Hansel is in safe, capable, and truly caring hands.

Last Friday, our little ones got busy in class, making some love in the form of simple cookies 🍪 to show appreciation for their amazing mums ❤️!

From decorating to adding sweet touches, every step was filled with giggles, joy, and lots of love 🥰.
It was a heartwarming celebration 🎉 as we watched the children create something special with their own little hands, just for Mum 👩‍👧‍👦.

Activity: Recognising themselves
Description: Through activity, the children are able to recognise their own features by matching the body parts placement

Activity: Circle Printing
Description: Through this Activity, the children are able to recognise the shape of a ‘Circle’ and finding objects that relate to ‘Circle’. The children also are able to use their. Creativity to create circle crafts.

Activity: Matching and Recognising numbers.
Description: Through activity, the children are able to recognise the number on the flash cards and also enhance their rote count from 1-5 and marching the teddy according to colours.

Activity: Knowing the importance of “Sharing”.
Description: The children are taught on the importance of “sharing” through pretend play. They are able to know why sharing is important and also knowing the meaning of it.

World Water Day Celebration

In celebration of World Water Day, our children dressed in blue and participated in a fun and educational water rationing exercise. They engaged in various water-themed activities, learning about the importance of conserving water and exploring its many uses in our daily lives. It was a day full of hands-on learning and creativity, emphasizing the value of water for our planet! 💧🌍

Our recent Chinese New Year celebration was a blast! 🎊
The centre was filled with joy, laughter, and festive spirit as we welcomed the Lion Dance Troupe 🦁🥁, spreading good luck and prosperity.
The God of Fortune 🎭✨ also made a special appearance, bringing blessings to all!

Parents and children had a wonderful time bonding over exciting games and activities 🎯🎲, making this celebration even more meaningful.

We were deeply honored to have Ms. Carrie Tan, Advisor to Nee Soon GRC, join us for this special occasion. Her presence added so much warmth and inspiration to the event. 💐

The concert was a showcase of creativity, hard work, and joy, as the children amazed us with their performances. From heart warming songs to lively dances, each moment reflected their growth and dedication. To our graduates, congratulations on your achievements—this is just the beginning of an exciting journey ahead! 🎈

The children got hands-on with activities like creating rangoli patterns, decorating diyas, and learning about the significance of this festival.

Dressed in traditional attire, they danced to festive music, enjoyed storytelling, and explored the themes of light, kindness, and togetherness. Seeing their excitement and engagement reminded us of the beauty of cultural traditions and the joy of celebrating together.
