Two years ago, we received a query from International Film Festival Rotterdam and La Luna became the event’s closing film. This wouldn’t have happened if not for this man who posted a glowing review of La Luna. This is a very belated moment of thanks to the one and only . And yes, his new film Ghost In The Cell is as awesome as what everyone had been sharing about! Catch it in the cinemas now! Thank you to Song Ting of Golden Village Cinemas and Mr. Lim Teck for making this happen for us.

Last Sunday, we had the distinct honour, pleasure and pure joy of seeing La Luna on the Esplanade stage. It’s surreal to see our work translated on stage with such panache, reverence and passion. Thank you to the entire Teater Ekamatra team for this. A tear or two were shed seeing the performances on stage and how ALL the artistes translated our work from the big screen to the Esplanade Stage. We are still feeling the aftershock of excitement.
From the streets of Doha to Kuala Lumpur, from the paddy fields of Kuala Kangsar to Singapore, through COVID and back, dodgy investors, controversies and condemnations, big screens to Netflix, Jakarta, Tokyo, Shanghai, Rotterdam and Los Angeles…
…La Luna is back home.

We made our European premiere yesterday at Rotterdam. Badak had a rapturous response and we’re thankful that our film could touch the hearts of people on the other side of the world.
