Society for Synthetic Biology (Singapore) will host its Inaugural SynBioSG Conference 1.0 on 22nd February 2024 at Matrix, Biopolis; to showcase the latest synthetic biology developments in Singapore and around the region.

In this News, we hear from Ms Jessica Ng about her views on SynBioSG.
Ms Jessica Ng is a SynBioSG member and A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research Graduate Scholar. She is a second-year PhD student from the National University of Singapore (NUS), under the supervision of Associate Professor Matthew Chang at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Dr. Yuansheng Yang at the A*STAR Bioprocessing Technology Institute (BTI).
Jessica’s PhD project is on the development of a platform to streamline monoclonal antibody discovery and development. Her project aims to build the conventional drug discovery and development capabilities within manufacturing-ready Chinese Hamster O***y (CHO) cells.
