Day 6 — 2 June 2026, Tuesday
Oriental Pearl Tower • Airport • Home

Wrapping up our Overseas Learning Journey ✈️🏙️

On our final day, our Beacon students visited the Oriental Pearl Tower and enjoyed panoramic views of Shanghai. The group then headed to the airport for the journey back to Singapore.

Over the past week, students explored new places, experienced different cultures and developed greater independence through a variety of learning experiences. Thank you to everyone who made this journey possible.

Day 5 — 1 June 2026, Monday
SIP No. 2 Experimental School • Shanghai Natural History Museum • The Bund • Cheng Huang Temple

A day of learning, discovery and cultural exploration 🌏✨

Our Beacon students began the day with a visit to SIP No. 2 Experimental School, where they engaged in meaningful interactions and gained insights into school life in China. Through classroom exchanges and collaborative activities, students strengthened their communication skills and broadened their global perspectives.

The journey continued at the Shanghai Natural History Museum, followed by visits to The Bund and Cheng Huang Temple, where students explored Shanghai’s rich blend of history, culture and modern development. 🏙️🏛️

On this Vesak Day, we extend our warm wishes to all students, parents, and families.

Day 3 — 30 May 2026, Saturday
Silk Museum • Embroidery Experience • Guan Qian Street • Master of the Nets Garden

A day of culture, craftsmanship and discovery ✨

Our students explored the fascinating world of silk at the Silk Museum and had the opportunity to experience the intricate art of Suzhou embroidery firsthand. Through this hands-on activity, they gained a deeper appreciation for the skill, patience and creativity behind this traditional craft. 🧵🌸

The journey continued to the bustling Guan Qian Street, where students immersed themselves in the local atmosphere and observed the vibrant blend of history and modern life. The day concluded with a visit to the beautiful Master of the Nets Garden, where they experienced the elegance of classical Chinese garden design and learned about the cultural heritage of Suzhou. 🏮🌿
