Lumba Bahasa: Arena Bestari 2026
š Our students had an exciting and enriching experience at Lumba Bahasa: Arena Bestari 2026, held at Zhenghua Community Club as part of the Bulan Bahasa celebrations!
Alongside students from seven primary schools, they had the opportunity to learn and use the Malay language through fun games, challenging riddles and collaborative activities. The event also deepened their appreciation of Malay heritage and culture.
š We are delighted to share that our school emerged in second place in the competition!

As part of our Character and Citizenship Education (CCE) and Social Studies programmes, our Primary 4 students are currently embarking on an enriching Museum-Based Learning journey to the Kreta Ayer Heritage Gallery, with several classes already diving into this immersive experience! Through exploring authentic artifacts, vibrant Cantonese opera costumes, and traditional arts, our young learners are uncovering the rich history of early Chinatown and the enduring contributions of Singaporeās pioneers. This hands-on learning journey is helping students forge deeper connections to our nation's multicultural heritage while inspiring them to discover and appreciate their own family stories.

At the National Day Dinner 2026 on 6 August, our Choir members sang beautifully to the tunes of Bunga Sayang and Home. Organised by the Bukit Panjang Constituency Office, the CCA student leaders also played their part as flag bearers and recited the pledge with members of the community that evening. It was a memorable evening indeed. Great work, Choir. š

This term, our Malay, Indian and Chinese Dance CCA groups brought the canteen to life with their vibrant performances during selected recesses! Through the experience, our dancers developed confidence, teamwork and discipline, while their schoolmates were delighted to enjoy the lively showcases of cultures. What a wonderful way to brighten up recess!

National Day Observance Ceremony
In a solemn moment of reflection, the Zhenghua community came together to commemorate National Day ā reflecting on Singaporeās journey, the values that unite us and our shared responsibility for the future.
Led by our P5 CCA Leaders, we stood together for the march-in of our flags, the National Anthem and Pledge, National Day Message and Recollections.
For our student leaders, it was a meaningful opportunity to step forward, serve and lead with purpose ā embodying the Zhenghua spirit to Go Beyond and Be the Best That We Can Be. ā¤ļø

From a moment of reflection to a celebration filled with joy, the Zhenghua community came together to celebrate Singaporeās 61st birthday!
From Donāt Forget the Lyrics with our Mystery Teachers to the mass dance, community singing and a spirited finale by our Teacher Live Band, the hall came alive with music, laughter and Singapore spirit. š¶
More than the festivities, these shared moments remind us of the sense of belonging that connects us ā as one school community and as Singaporeans.

On 25 July, our Primary 5 students attended the NE Show 2026, celebrating SG61 with pride, joy and a strong sense of belonging.
Beyond the cheers and sea of red and white, the experience was a reminder that every generation has a part to play in Singaporeās story.

šļø P5 Adventure Camp 2026
Three days of adventure, challenges and growth!
Our Primary 5 students stepped beyond their comfort zones, embraced new experiences and encouraged one another throughout the camp.
From conquering the High Elements to braving the Night Walk, they put our school values into action by demonstrating Resilience, Care, Responsibility and Collaboration.
More than just an adventure, the camp was an opportunity for our students to discover their strengths and realise that they are capable of achieving more than they imaginedāespecially with friends cheering them on every step of the way!

An early start and a spirited performance! On Sunday, 2 August, our Brass Band proudly performed at the Bukit Panjang Community Club National Day Observance Ceremony. Our young musicians brought energy and music to the celebration, showing great commitment while contributing meaningfully to the community. Well done, Brass Band!
