🔢 Building Strong Numeracy Skills Through Play! ✨

Our little learners explored numeracy through fun, hands-on matching activities that encouraged them to think, count and discover. By matching numerals with the correct quantity, children developed an understanding of quantifying—recognising how many objects are in a group and connecting that quantity to a number.

🌟 Through these engaging experiences, children developed:

🔢 Number recognition and numeral identification
🧮 Quantifying by counting and matching numbers to the correct quantity
🎯 One-to-one correspondence
🧠 Early mathematical thinking and problem-solving

Learning maths is fun when children can see, touch and explore!

Through hands-on activities, our little learners practised counting, matching, sequencing and quantifying by understanding "how many" objects are in a group.

🌟 Today's learning supported:
🔢 Number recognition and numeral matching
🐻 Counting and quantifying (matching numerals to the correct quantity)
📈 Number sequencing and ordering
🧠 Problem-solving and logical thinking
✋ Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
💬 Language development through counting and mathematical vocabulary

Today, our little detectives put their focus to the test with a fun picture matching game!

The children scanned, compared, and matched up identical pairs of familiar items from colorful animals to everyday objects.

Our classroom turned into a mini kitchen today as the children prepared their own healthy cucumber sandwiches.

From mastering the art of the spoon-spread to carefully placing each crunchy cucumber slice, they poured so much focus (and love) into their snacks!

Cooking together helps our little ones explore fresh vegetables, practice fine motor skills, and build a massive boost of confidence. Check out those proud smiles! 😍👆

Today, our little explorers got to know the juicy watermelon through their 5 senses! 👀👃👂✋👅

👀 We looked at its bright red colour and tiny black seeds.
👃 We smelled its sweet, fresh scent.
✋ We touched the smooth skin and juicy flesh.
👂 We listened to the crunch as we took a bite.
👅 We tasted the sweet and refreshing fruit!

Through hands-on exploration, children learn to observe, describe, compare, and discover the world around them. 🌱💡

✨ Run, Seek & Read! ✨

Our little learners were full of energy as they played a fun game of run and seek to find hidden sight words around the classroom! 🏃‍♀️💨

Once they found a word, they excitedly read it out loud and shared it with their friends—turning learning into a joyful adventure. 💛

Through this activity, children strengthened their language skills by recognizing and reading sight words, while also building their social skills—taking turns, cheering for one another, and learning together as a team.

Play truly brings out the best in learning! 🌈
