May wasn’t about following a perfect workout plan.
It was about finding pockets of movement between classes, wedding prep, documenting life, and everyday life.
Some days it was Pilates.
Some days it was yoga.
Some days it was simply moving because my body needed it.
A reminder that movement doesn’t have to be all or nothing.
The little moments count too 🤍

From a little girl who loved counting money to an accounting student who almost flunked her first paper. To a banker who felt no meaning despite loving the work. To a Pilates instructor. To a yoga therapist.
None of this was planned.
A word changed everything for me — ikigai. The Japanese concept of finding meaning at the intersection of what you love, what you’re good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for.
I realised I liked what I did. But I saw no impact. And that was enough of a reason to leave.
Been feeling a little down few weeks back. So I let little Maeve remind me why I made every single one of those choices.
No regrets. Not a single one. 💛
Is there a word or moment that changed the direction of your life? 👇

community is one of the most underrated forms of self care.
last weekend I celebrated my bachelorette with women who have known me across different chapters of my life. secondary school, uni, first job and everything in between.
we made perfume. they made me name everyone’s scent. then got weirdly competitive about whose name I’d choose for mine.
I chose Fresh Peony. our group chat was later renamed. 😂🥹
they also turned themselves and me into our male versions and made me choose who I’d marry among them. I will not be sharing my answer. 😂
some friends showed their love through every little detail — the decor, the activities, everything planned with so much intention.
some showed it by simply showing up and being fully present.
some showed it by being away from their kids for the first time, just to be here.
different kinds of love. and I felt every single one of them.
to my girls — Fresh Peony forever. 🌸💛

This is how I manage my own stress.
Yoga for my mind. Pilates for my strength. And always exploring new ways to move.
Movement isn’t one size fits all, not even for me.
What’s your version of this? 👇
wait it’s already been a year with SG Pilates?! 🥹
Time really flies when you’re surrounded by the nicest students 🫶🏻
This reel is for you.
For every time you showed up for yourself.
For those who come every week without fail, and for those who come every few months and still walk in with the biggest smile and a life update I didn’t know I needed to hear.
I love knowing you beyond the class.
your new jobs, your milestones, your little wins.
Thank you for letting me be a small part of your journey. 🌿
See you in the next class ✨

Went for beach volleyball last week. Was already 30 mins late. Then it rained.
I thought - perfect. Maybe I don’t have to play.
But they were still out there. So I joined.
I still sucked. But I had the most fun.
Sometimes the hardest part is just starting. And I’m really grateful for friends who keep inviting me to do new things - even when I need a little convincing first. 😅
What’s something new you’ve tried recently because someone dragged you into it? 👇
It’s been a month since I got back from Bali…
and I’m still thinking about how simple life felt there.
Slow mornings. Movement. Good food.
No rushing, no packed schedules. Just being present.
Coming back made me realise how quickly we fall back into the “busy” routine.
But maybe life doesn’t actually need to feel this rushed all the time
Still learning how to hold onto that feeling, even back home.

A week in Bali reminded me how simple life can be.
For the first time, I started taking Grab bikes everywhere — riding through the streets, feeling the wind, just observing the world around me.
Our days became very simple.
Wake up. Move our bodies. Eat good food. Explore. Rest.
Somewhere between the bike rides and the beach, I had a quiet realization…
Life is actually very simple.
But somewhere along the way, we started glorifying being busy all the time.
Maybe the real flex isn’t being busy.
Maybe it’s having the freedom to slow down.
Conversations about the future, the kind of life we want to build, and what really matters.
For now, I’m just grateful for moments like these that remind me to breathe.
