HCAstro has achieved stellar results at AstroChallenge 2018.
We clinched overall champion trophy for the Senior Category for the first time in the club’s history. We also won the Best in Observation Round award,maintaining the gold streak from last year.

Many of us also gained fruitful experience, made new friends and expanded our horizons.

Ryan has tirelessly trained us for AstroChallenge. We thank our teachers ics and our seniors for helping us for making this achievement possible.

We appeared on ZaoBao once again about our Astrordinary Day Camp held this March!😃 This article is written by Yuchan, one of our club members.

We are collaborating with WhiteSands shopping mall for their upcoming Starmazing! event in June. We will be having telescope stargazing in an open area, as well as holding talks and presentations in the library on 16 and 17 June. This event is free and open to public. See what some of our J1s are up to...

Night Under the Stars (NUTS) last Friday. We had a great turnout of around 40 participants, including teachers,alumni and students from other schools. Unfortunately, due to wet weather, we didn't get the chance to look at the sky with telescopes, but the rest of the event was smoothly executed. Kudos to our J1s for doing the presentations and games!

Thank you all who came for NUTS! Hope you guys enjoyed the activities. We have another NUTS in July.

Treasure Hunt Astronomy Workshop held in conjunction with Science Fest by ! A new undertaking organised by HCAstro J1s, participants gained experience handling the telescopes to look for objects.

Ever wanted to understand the map of the 🌌Universe? Ever wanted to observe our closest neighbors closer? Ever wanted to know how our home galaxy was formed a few billion years ago? *Night under the stars* is a great opportunity for astronomy lovers and amateaur young inspiring astronomers to learn, to greater depths, about the origins of the Universe, practical astronomy, and the handling of telescopes🌙🔭🔭. NUTS which falls on *11th of May from 6.30 pm to 9 pm* will allow you to handle professional scopes, listen to interesting and informative astronomical sharings, while at the same time having fun with treasure hunting and light painting. So wait no further, grab your friends and join in for a wonder-filled, cosmos-stricken night under the stars!
