YEP OCP 2026 brought together 25 students and 4 lecturers from HSS, BUS and ENG, including 10 BUS students across a diverse range of diplomas, united by a shared purpose to serve and learn.
From 23 March to 5 April, students were based at Phuanmit School in Laos, where they contributed through teaching, construction work and meaningful engagement with the local community. Beyond structured activities, they took on daily responsibilities such as cooking meals for one another, strengthening teamwork, resilience and a strong sense of care.
A key highlight was Singapore Culture Night, where students prepared food and put up performances for over 160 students, teachers and families, creating genuine moments of connection and cultural exchange.
The journey was further enriched through visits to local enterprises, where students gained insights into sustainability, community practices and local business operations.
Throughout the experience, students demonstrated grit, adaptability and heart for service. More importantly, they brought the BUS DNA to life as creative thinkers, collaborative problem solvers and effective communicators. This was more than just a service trip. It was a transformational journey that shaped values, built character and inspired them to become future Business Movers and Shakers ready to make a meaningful impact 🚀
