From commercial food waste to high-value fish feed, Life Lab Resources is changing how Singapore handles organic waste 🌱.

We're proud that Temasek Polytechnic hosts the biorefinery where this pioneering valorisation process takes place. It is a great example of how industry partners and TP come together to advance innovative sustainability solutions with real-world impact.

The future is green—and the skills needed to build it are becoming more important than ever.

From cleaner water and responsible waste management to renewable energy and more efficient systems, sustainability is transforming how industries operate and grow.

Applications are now open for two Specialist Diplomas at Temasek Polytechnic:

🌱 Specialist Diploma in Environment & Water Technology (SDEWT): Gain knowledge in water and wastewater treatment, solid-waste management, environmental management, plant utilities and air-pollution control. This course aligns with another programme mentioned below, SDETES, and provides a shared Post-Diploma Certificate in Sustainable Utilities System. Graduates can enhance their expertise in pollution control and renewable energy, earning dual specialist diplomas in just three semesters. ⚡ Specialist Diploma in Environmental Technology & Energy Sustainability (SDETES): Develop capabilities in plant utilities, pollution control, mechanical and air-conditioning systems, motor systems, renewable and clean energy, energy auditing and energy management. Additionally, this course aligns with another programme mentioned above, SDEWT, allowing for an expedited acquisition of dual specialist diplomas in environmental management areas such as water treatment and solid waste management, achievable in three instead of four semesters.
