These two sound exactly the same but mean completely different things, and mixing them up is one of the most common little slip-ups in English!

PIECE = a part of something (like a piece of cake 🍰)
PEACE = calm and quiet (like peace and quiet 🕊️)

Here's the trick that makes it stick: a pieCE of a piE, both have "pie" in them! 🥧 Once you spot the pie, you'll never get it wrong again.
