Did you know? The letter does not represent the /qu/ sound.
Instead, /kw/ is represented by , not just . It is two sounds blended together to make /kw/.
To teach your child the /qu/ sound, open and your close your hands like a duck's beak while saying /qu/, /qu/, /qu/. ๐ฆ

Curious Thoughts Academy uses Structured Synthetic Phonics (SSP) that teaches children letter sounds through storytelling, actions, songs, and worksheets.
In every 75-minute lesson, children will learn five key skills:

4.โ โ Segmentation (Identifying the sounds in words)
