To celebrate our Lion City’s special day, the children discovered the story of Singapore’s beginnings through an engaging drama experience that brought history to life.

Through storytelling and drama, the past became more accessible and meaningful, helping our young learners understand and appreciate the story of the country we call home.

Together, we wish Singapore continued prosperity and many more wonderful years ahead. ❤️🤍

打好华文基础，贵在用心积累！
在老师耐心的引导下，成竹P1的小朋友们认真学习了“交朋友”、“跳舞”、“鸡蛋”等全新词语。大家大胆开口跟读，用心理解词义，严格贴合MOE对于P1的教学标准。孩子们积极练习组词和短句表达，一点点培养华文语感，稳步夯实华文基础。

📚 A strong foundation in Mandarin begins with every new word learnt.

With patient guidance from their teacher, our Primary 1 Language Skills students explored new vocabulary such as “making friends”, “dancing” and “eggs”. They practised reading the words aloud with confidence while developing a clear understanding of their meanings.

In keeping with MOE’s learning expectations for Primary 1, the children also practised using their new vocabulary to form words and express themselves in short sentences. Through regular practice and thoughtful guidance, they are gradually developing a stronger sense of the language and building a solid foundation in Mandarin.

Every new word understood and every sentence expressed brings them one step further in their Mandarin learning journey. 🌱

在K1提高班的课堂上，学习从来都不枯燥。小小的字卡，是孩子们最爱的“学习好伙伴”。我们通过好玩的身体认字游戏，让孩子动起来、找出来、认清楚，在互动中轻松记住每一个生字。接着，全班一起朗读精彩的故事书，在琅琅书声中不断巩固新学的字词。边玩边认，边读边记，识字变得有趣又有效，宝贝们越学越投入，成长也在每一次欢笑中悄悄发生！

📚 Small learning tools can make a big difference!

In our Kindergarten 1 Language Learners class, little word cards become powerful learning companions. Through interactive word recognition games, the children move, search and identify new words, turning every activity into an opportunity to build their vocabulary with confidence.

The learning continues as the class reads an engaging story aloud together, reinforcing newly learnt words through shared reading and repetition. By combining movement, interaction and storytelling, word recognition becomes both meaningful and enjoyable.

At Chengzhu Mandarin Centre, every activity is thoughtfully designed to help children build a strong foundation in Mandarin. Every new word they learn is another confident step forward.

成竹华语提高班K2的小朋友们个个状态满分，在“踩地雷”游戏中快乐闯关，边玩边学新字词。每一次抬脚，是小小的挑战；每一次准确认读，都是稳稳的进步。大家不仅顺利读出“避雨、劈”等字词，还灵活躲避“地雷”陷阱，在轻松有趣的氛围中，悄悄积累起更丰富的华文词汇量！

💥 One of our K2 Language Learners’ favourite word recognition games is back!

With energy and enthusiasm, the children took on the "Stepping on Landmines" challenge, learning new vocabulary with every careful step. Each obstacle became an opportunity to build confidence, and every correctly read word marked another step forward in their Mandarin learning journey.

As they skilfully avoided the "landmines", the children confidently recognised words such as 避雨 ("taking shelter from the rain") and 劈 ("to split"). Through movement, interaction and purposeful play, they expanded their vocabulary while discovering that learning Mandarin can be both engaging and rewarding.

阳光透过一尘不染的玻璃窗，温柔地洒进宽敞明亮的课室。成竹P5的同学们凝神细看、认真思考，细致观察图画的场景与细节特征。

老师循序渐进地引导同学们读懂图、立主题、用技巧，搭建清晰的写作思路，巧用新词汇，并进行一对一指导，从而提升华文写作水平。

☀️ Filled with natural light and quiet concentration, our Primary 5 Language Skills classroom is where ideas begin to take shape.

As the students studied each picture, they carefully observed the details, interpreted the visual clues and considered how each scene could be developed into a meaningful story.

With step-by-step guidance from their teacher, they learned how to identify a clear theme, organise their ideas, apply effective writing techniques and enrich their compositions with appropriate vocabulary. Personalised one-to-one feedback further helped each student refine their writing and build greater confidence in expressing their ideas in Mandarin.

At Chengzhu, every writing lesson is an opportunity to develop not only stronger language skills, but also thoughtful, confident communicators.

宝贝们跟着老师动手做漂亮的杯子，一起锻炼手部小肌肉。大肌肉活动更是热闹非凡，大家一起沉浸在海洋球的世界里，感受华语课带来的乐趣！

Our Mandarin PlayNest little ones explored the world of cups in a joyful and engaging session. 🥤✨

Guided by their teacher, the children created their own beautiful cup crafts, strengthening their fine motor skills as their little hands pasted, pressed and explored.

The excitement continued with gross motor activities, as everyone immersed themselves in the colourful world of ocean balls. Through movement, hands-on discovery and Mandarin interaction, our youngest learners experienced the joy of language in a warm and playful environment.
