What went down last weekend:
Open house at Sunflower preschool Hougang, and we had this activity where families got to have their photo printed out and they got to decorate the frame to bring it home! Join us for our next open house this weekend on 13th June and the school you’re visiting may just be the one that will have this activity!

🌻 Sunflower @ Hillview Featured on CNA!

We are proud to share that Sunflower @ Hillview was featured on CNA in conjunction with Total Defence Day.

Located within MINDEF premises, our preschool works closely in collaboration to help our children understand the importance of emotional and psychological resilience during times of difficulty. Through meaningful activities, our little ones learned how to stay calm, prepared, and adaptable when facing unexpected situations.

As part of the programme, the children packed their own “Ready Bags” in school. These bags contain essential items that can be used during emergencies — serving as contingency plans in case food and water supplies are disrupted.

Beyond the classroom, educators and parents can also use these Ready Bags as practical tools to reinforce conversations about resilience at home, helping children feel secure and prepared.

Together, we nurture not just knowledge, but strength of character and confidence in our young learners. 💛

Sunflower Preschool - Hillview
