Our first month back meant we celebrated with 3 of our team members! Dr. Vanessa, Ms. Natasha and Ms. Nabillah are all January babies👶.

We love our family and love that we get to make our staff feel special on their special days 😜, too (and that we get to eat cake too 😜). As a team, we have a lot to be thankful for, and our people are certainly greatly appreciated! 💕💕💕

Happy Birthday 🎂!

Before our awesome students 🤩 returned to school for our new academic year, our faculty had fun attending professional development courses to maintain their skills and upgrade on best practices 🙌.

Just like our students have fun in their day-to-day learning, our teachers had fun learning more about various classroom management approaches, psychological safety, and positive & collaborative teaching practices.

It's been a wonderful year here at Little Tykes! We've made fantastic memories, explored new places, discovered new friends and had lots of fun while learning! We hope our families have a lovely holiday break, thank you for making 2019 truly spectacular!

With Christmas fast approaching, our Little Tykes are learning about all the festive decor that you see during this time of year! They decorated their own cute Christmas wreath that can be hung on their doors as a welcoming decorative sign! Did you know that in ancient times, wreaths were traditionally given as prized gifts?

We all had such a fun time during our Term 4 school excursion! It was a beautiful morning as we ventured over to Sentosa Island and made our way to Siloso Beach. Our kiddos absolutely loved making sandcastles and playing with their friends in the water! Everyone worked up an appetite and sat down to enjoy a picnic lunch together. We surprised our little ones and their families with a yummy Christmas log cake to finish off a truly wonderful day!

Even when it's raining outside that doesn't stop the fun here at Little Tykes! We're lucky to have our colourful indoor jungle gym that provides the opportunity for our kiddos to jump, climb, slide and play with no umbrella needed!

Our Little Tykes have been learning about basic nutrition and understanding which utensils we use at meal time! We tasked them with creating their own plate of healthy and yummy snacks, letting them choose what they prefer to eat. Safe to say, we saw some interesting and creative combinations!

Stop ➡️ Attention ➡️ Go! Our Little Tykes have been learning the importance of traffic lights and what each colour means! Living in an urban jungle provides the opportunity to teach our kiddos that road safety is very important! They sang a fun song to understand what traffic lights do, followed up by a hands-on craft that reinforced the lesson🚦

During Mandarin lessons, our Little Tykes were introduced to Jūn 君 the Giraffe长颈鹿. They learned that these gentle giants are the world’s tallest living land animals! Their favourite food is the acacia tree and they use their long necks to reach the leaves in the treetops. Their long tongues also help them pull down leaves growing way up high!
