SOR Team Unitrix was on air with Mediacorp 987 ! 🎙️🤖

SOR students and coaches had an amazing time speaking with radio DJ , sharing their journey in robotics, overseas competitions, and the hard work behind the scenes. The team even brought along their robot and gave everyone a closer look at what they have been building and preparing for!

One of the most special moments was hearing a shoutout to Coach John, who received the Coach Award — recognising him as one of only 6 coaches selected among more than 200 coaches worldwide. 🌍🏆 He also shared his thoughts and emotions about the entire journey, making the session even more meaningful and inspiring.

From exciting conversations to lots of fun and laughter, it was truly a memorable and fulfilling experience for the whole team. Thank you 987fm and Louisa for having us! ❤️

Behind every achievement is a trainer who believed in the team long before the results came. ❤️

This heartfelt letter was written by Team UNITRIX to trainer John during the FIRST® Championship in Houston, Texas, USA 🇺🇸

Through every challenge, failure, debugging session, and breakthrough, trainer John never simply gave the answers. Instead, he guided the team to think deeper, solve problems independently, and grow stronger together.

Perhaps that is exactly why he deserved the Coach/Mentor Award. 🏆

Not just for teaching robotics, but for shaping resilience, teamwork, confidence, and the courage to keep trying even after failure.
