NYP Oral Health Therapy NYP Oral Health Therapy Oral Health Therapy was founded in 2003 and was registered with the Singapore Dental Council in 2008.

The Diploma in Oral Health Therapy is a 3-year full-time diploma course offered by Nanyang Polytechnic to prepare students for a career as an Oral Health Therapist. The course is offered with support from the Health Promotion Board, the National University Centre for Oral Health, the Singapore Dental Association and government polyclinics. The course teaches core skills in operative dentistry, den

tal hygiene, oral health promotion and clinic management. Hence, you will learn to perform procedures like polishing, scaling, root planing, fillings and extraction of milk teeth. In addition, you will gain hands-on experience in specialised stimulation laboratories and during clinical attachments. The Diploma in Oral Health Therapy is for you if you are a caring, patient and meticulous person who seeks to help people maintain good oral health and quality of life.
