“NYP's School of IT looks beyond grades to value passion and potential. The hands-on curriculum truly shaped how I think, build and solve problems. My internship at JAPFA allowed me to build production AI systems that directly support farmers across Southeast Asia. This experience showed me that NYP does not just teach theory, it prepares you to create global impact beyond Singapore."

“I chose NYP after being inspired by my experience engaging with student leaders at a cybersecurity event, as NYP Infosec stood out for its strong community and supportive culture. That connection grew through interactions with its members, and gave me the confidence that NYP was the right place for me. Serving as President of NYP Infosec also allowed me to give back by organising workshops and creating opportunities for others. I leave NYP with meaningful friendships, leadership growth, and experiences that have prepared me for the future.

Our students had the opportunity to visit EM Services. They gained valuable insights into the work that keeps Singapore’s Town Councils running smoothly behind the scenes.
As part of this collaboration, students will be working on real-world problem statements across areas such as resident feedback management, lift maintenance workflows, and digital transformation initiatives.
These industry-linked projects provide a platform for students to apply their technical and innovation skills in real-world settings, while strengthening capabilities in problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and solution development.
We appreciate the team at EM Services for hosting us and for partnering with us to develop the next generation of industry-ready tech talent.

“Applying to NYP via EAE was my first step toward tech excellence at NYP. By securing my place early, I could focus on building the technical expertise and leadership skills through the NYP Lumina’s Foundation Programme. The programme developed my ability to present work professionally and concisely by implementing expert faculty feedback which eventually led my team to the Dell InnovateDash 2026 Championship. NYP’s hands-on learning and Professional Competency Model gave me a massive head start, allowing me to earn industry certifications while still a student. I’m grateful to NYP for turning my passion into a platform for real-world victory.”
Akil Bin Hermizan , Year 2 Student of Diploma in Applied AI & Analytics, NYP Scholarship (O-Level Pathway), Director's List for 2 semesters, NYP Dell InnovateDash 2026 Champion

“Missing my first choice for Cybersecurity through EAE was a blessing in disguise. It allowed me to explore the IT world before finding my true calling in security. My time at NYP was defined by global experiences, from studying in South Korea to completing my internship in Shanghai. Between the CSIT‑Nanyang Scholarship and the lifelong friendships formed during the pandemic, NYP provided the perfect foundation for my studies at NUS.”

“I’ve always learnt best by doing, so choosing Diploma in Business & Financial Technology via EAE was the perfect way to turn my interest in Python into a practical career. Transitioning from O‑level to a diploma which was a blend of finance and computing was a huge shift, but the constant support from my lecturers made it a smooth ride. My internship really pushed me to step up and solve real‑world problems that went beyond our textbooks, giving me the confidence to bridge the gap between classroom theory and industry needs. I am grateful for the hands‑on foundation and proactive mindset I built during my three years here.”
