Memories from our third Nature Tales in the forest. We had a nature walk, storytelling and art & craft. Children were allowed to observe their surroundings where they were on their own, looking in awe at nature’s wonders.

Reading Club Junior is an intermediate level reading programme. It is for children who have already recognised all the letter sounds and are ready to move on to blending sounds. Our sessions are mostly hands-on which will stir their imagination and thinking skills.

Infants are born very dependent on their parents. They undergo huge brain development, growth and neuron pruning in the first two years of life. The brain development of infants (as well as their social, emotional and cognitive development) depends on a loving bond or attachment relationship with a primary caregiver, usually a parent.

It is vital that babies and their parents are supported during this time to promote attachment. Without a good initial bond, children are less likely to grow up to become happy, independent and resilient adults.
Hence the support of babies and their parents in the first two years of life to be a crucial aim of public health groups in the community.

Here at TLOC our aim is to support the learning process and development of the child. Therefore we have specially curated our first parent-accompanied programme.

Play Club Babies is a child-parent bonding session for children aged 8 - 24 months. We hope that with the introduction of Play Club Babies, it would better facilitate the attachment between both the parents and the child and hence further understand the value of quality time together.

Disclaimer:
We at TLOC, are in no way or position (with the intention) to replace the role of the parents or primary caregiver.
