Racial Harmony Day celebration in Appleland is to remind us about the importance of racial harmony and to celebrate Singapore’s diversity.
All our children dress in ethnic costumes such as Chinese cheongsam/samfu, Malay baju kurung/baju Melayu, Indian saree/kurta, Eurasian or other outfits.
Parents bring in different culture food such as Kueh, curry puffs, putu mayam, ondeh-onsen, and old traditional biscuits.
Story- telling about the history of Singapore and message to our children:-
"We are different, but we are one Singapore."*

A walkabout around the neighbourhood, gave the children a wonderful opportunity to explore the different ethnic community stalls and learn about Singapore’s rich multicultural heritage.
