⭐ Honouring Our Unsung Heroes

On 31 August, our CHAMPs gathered for JOY 2026, a special day dedicated to honouring our non-teaching staff. To express their gratitude, students from every class designed and presented personalised posters, sharing heartfelt messages to thank our staff for their care and commitment to the school.

Through this experience, our CHAMPs reflected on the vital roles played by every member of our school community. It was a meaningful opportunity for students to put the value of Respect into practice, recognising the dedication of those who work behind the scenes to keep our school running smoothly.

We thank our non-teaching staff for the difference they make every day. Our school is a brighter place because of your hard work and heart!

⭐ Celebrating Our Track & Field CHAMPs!

Our CHAMPs demonstrated incredible grit and sportsmanship at the National School Games (NSG) Track and Field championships. Beyond the excitement of the competition, our students gained invaluable lessons in resilience and confidence through their dedicated training. It was heartening to see their hard work translate into fantastic results.

⭐ Theatre Magic: Igniting a Passion for Chinese Language and Culture

Last Friday afternoon, our P3HCL, P4HCL & P4CL students stepped out of the classroom and into the vibrant world of theatre at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre! As part of the Cultural Performance Exposure Scheme (CPES) “文化随意门”计划, we had the wonderful opportunity to catch the captivating play, 'The Scholar and the Wolf' 《东郭先生与狼》.

Our CHAMPs were absolutely mesmerised by the expressive acting and creative storytelling, discovering that learning Chinese can be incredibly fun and engaging! Seeing this classic fable brought to life in such a lively, interactive environment was truly eye-opening. We hope this experience ignites a lasting passion for our students to explore more cultural programmes and engage even deeper with the Chinese language!

Our CHAMPs have been busy taking ownership of their learning environments! Through the “Step Up! Clean Up!” initiative, students worked together to ensure their classrooms remain tidy, organised, and conducive for learning.

⭐ Leading the Way in Biodiversity Research

Our Green Club CHAMPs explored the wonders of nature during the 5th NSS ESN Singapore Biodiversity Race on 3 June 2026. Through the event, organised by the Nature Society (Singapore), students sharpened their observation skills as they documented various local species.

Their curiosity and dedication led to impressive results, with the team clinching 1st place for the Highest Number of Species with Research-Grade Observations and 3rd place for the Best-Photographed Observation. Congratulations CHAMPs!

Beyond the awards, our students deepened their appreciation for Singapore’s rich biodiversity and the importance of conservation. We hope their passion inspires others to discover and care for the wonderful wildlife and ecosystems around us.

⭐"Together, As One Singapore"

Our CHAMPs represented Teck Whye Primary School with pride at the Chua Chu Kang Community Club National Day Dinner on 16 August 2026. Taking the stage with a vibrant modern dance, our dancers performed a piece that celebrated the themes of resilience, courage, and the spirit of going beyond.

It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to share their talents with the wider community. We celebrate our CHAMPs for the dedication they showed during rehearsals and the confidence they displayed throughout their performance.

⭐Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond!

Looking back at our 61st National Day celebrations, the spirit of unity was felt across every corner of the school. The festivities kicked off with a burst of energy as our staff led a spirited march-in, waving the national flag to the cheers of our CHAMPs.

This sense of pride continued as our Scouts led the Observance Ceremony with discipline and respect. Throughout the day, our students immersed themselves in activities that deepened their understanding of Singapore’s values and history. A special highlight was welcoming our elderly friends from Lions Befrienders, whose enthusiastic participation reminded us that love for our nation transcends generations.
