The Jeune Pinceau Awards 2025 Singapore Award Day was more than a moment to recognise achievements. It was a day of bringing young artists, families and our creative community together — to pause, look closely, exchange stories and celebrate the courage it takes for a child to share something they have created.

Seeing the exhibition filled with conversations, proud smiles, curious young minds and families moving from one artwork to another was incredibly special.

Behind every piece on these walls is a young artist with an idea, a story and a way of seeing the world that’s unique to them.

To all our young artists: keep creating, keep wondering, and keep trusting your own voice. Your work deserves to be seen.

♥️ And to every family, educator and friend who came to celebrate alongside us — thank you for making the event feel so warm, vibrant and full of heart.❤️

The time has come for the International French Art Competition, Jeune Pinceau (JPA)! If you are looking to participate and would like to get some mentorship and guidance, join us for our Art x French Art Competition Camp this July.

These 3-hour/ 5-day sessions will include concept development, artistic exploration, and competition of artwork by the Early Submission Deadline, on the 31st of July 2026.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have brought a group of The Drawing Mint students from Singapore to Paris to experience David Hockney 25 during our Paris Art Exchange program.

For our students, it was more than an art exhibition visit. It was an opportunity to learn directly from a lifetime of artistic exploration, bold experimentation, and unwavering curiosity. Seeing the work of a living master in such a comprehensive retrospective was a powerful lesson in what a creative life can be.

With the news of David Hockney’s passing, we are even more grateful for this experience and the inspiration it provided our students.

Thank you, David Hockney, for showing generations of artists that creativity has no age limit.
