✨ Trialogue 2026 ✨

Trialogue 2026 was a meaningful opportunity for our teachers, parents and West Springers to come together to reflect on each child’s learning journey, growth and well-being.

At West Spring Primary School, we deeply value the strong partnership between home and school, and we thank our parents for journeying closely with us in supporting and nurturing our West Springers. Together, we continue to build a N.I.C.E (Nurturing, Inclusive, Caring and Enabling) community where every child can learn, grow and thrive. 🌟

🌟🎡 Fun with Musical Genres: Movie Magic 🎢🌟

Our morning assembly on 6 May followed the theme of "Fun with Musical Genres – Movie Magic"! 🎬🎩

The programme featured live performances by guest musicians, who brought movie songs to life in West Spring! 🎀🎷

Our students were transported into the world of film through the power of music. Beyond the beautiful melodies, the artistes also shared passionately about how music tells stories and creates emotions in movies. 🎼🎞️

We hope our students are inspired to pursue music through the magical performance! πŸ’«

βœ¨πŸ‡°πŸ‡ ISSR Cambodia Visit to West Spring πŸ‡°πŸ‡βœ¨

We had a wonderful time welcoming our friends from the International School of Siem Reap (ISSR), Cambodia, to West Spring Primary! ☺️

This visit was especially meaningful as our current P6 students had the opportunity to visit ISSR last year. Building on that connection, they stepped forward as hosts - and quickly grew into their roles as warm, enthusiastic buddies. πŸ‘₯ From learning together in class to sharing laughs and picking up bits of each other’s cultures (with a touch of Singlish too!), it was heartening to see friendships form so naturally. 🌟

Our P1 students also rose to the occasion, confidently leading a school tour and proudly showing our guests their favourite corners of the school - earning many delighted β€œAwww… so cute!” moments along the way! 😊

From classroom interactions to casual conversations, the day was filled with curiosity, connection, and plenty of smiles. 😁

Thank you, ISSR, for spending the day with us - we look forward to many more opportunities to learn and grow together. πŸ’«

πŸ‘€πŸ“Έ Parenting Circles: Seeing the World Through Each Other’s Eyes πŸ’›βœ¨

What began as a programme for parents has grown into something more - a shared space for both parents and children to connect and bond meaningfully! πŸ₯°πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦πŸ€—

At our recent Parenting Circles, families spent time engaging in a simple photography activity πŸ“Έβœ¨. Beyond capturing images, they were learning to pause ⏸️, to notice πŸ‘€, and to see the world through each other’s eyes πŸ’ž. In these small moments, deeper understanding and connection began to form 🌈🀍.

Led by our PSG and our partner, Fei Yue Community Services, families also explored what it means to listen differently πŸ‘‚πŸ’¬ - moving beyond just hearing words, to understanding feelings and intentions πŸ«ΆπŸ’. These shared reflections remind us that strong communication is at the heart of strong relationships at home πŸ‘πŸ’•.

Most of all, the morning was a reflection of our NICE culture in action 🌟 - a nurturing, inclusive, caring and enabling space for families to grow together πŸŒ±πŸ€πŸ’–!

Join us at Parenting Circles next time as we continue to build stronger connections at home πŸ‘πŸ’ž, and a stronger community collectively πŸ€—πŸŒˆ.

🎭 P3 CL Cultural Performance Exposure Scheme (CPES) 🎬

This year, our P3 Chinese Language students had the opportunity to watch a children's drama, β€˜Bao Xiao Long Zhuo Zei Ji’ at Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan Cultural Academy (SHHKCA). Through the drama, students were exposed to the Chinese dim sum culture and learnt new words and idioms. 🌟
