Most classes for this age keep babies busy for an hour.

MonteBabes does something different. Your baby works with real materials at her own pace, with you sitting on the floor beside her. You leave knowing what she is ready for next week at home.

Pink Tower is a Montessori preschool in Katong. MonteBabes is our parent and child class for babies aged 12 to 18 months and it runs once a week.

September places open today. Send us a DM with the word BABES and we will send you everything.

Most parents book MonteBabes expecting their baby to learn something.

What they tell us afterwards is that the hour changed how they watch her. You sit on the floor for 60 minutes with nothing to manage and nothing to tidy, and you see how long she will stay with one thing when nobody interrupts her. That is usually the surprise.

September places are now open, with limited spots available each session. Register through the link in our bio or comment MONTEBABES below and we’ll send the link to your DM.

At Pink Tower Montessori in Katong, we open our doors and invite parents inside. Mums and dads sit on the floor with their children, sing along, and see exactly how their little ones spend their mornings with us. Children settle and thrive when the people they love feel close by. That is the community we are building here, one celebration at a time.

Come feel it for yourself. Book a school tour through the link in our bio and meet the families who make Pink Tower home.

The question we hear most: is my child ready for school?

And almost always, parents are measuring the wrong things.

Readiness gets treated like a checklist of hardware. Can she read? Write her name? Count to twenty? Those are nice. But they’re not what determines whether a child thrives once school starts.

The skills that actually carry them are the quiet ones. Focusing on something for more than a minute. Recovering when a task is frustrating. Speaking up, taking turns, waiting, trying again. Executive function, grit, confidence, getting along with others.

You can’t drill those with flashcards. They’re built through real, hands-on days. Which is exactly what we do here, every morning.

If you’re thinking about the next school year, come and see it for yourself. Book a tour through the link in our bio. 🌸

Her first experience of school doesn’t have to be five full days and a tearful drop-off.

Montebabes is our parent-accompanied programme for our youngest little ones. A warm, unhurried space where your child explores real Montessori materials, and you get to be right there beside them.

No pressure to separate before either of you is ready. Just your child discovering she can pour, carry, choose and tidy up all by herself, with you close enough to catch her eye.

It’s often the moment parents tell us they finally relaxed. Watching their toddler concentrate on something real, for longer than they thought possible.

We keep our groups small on purpose, so spots are limited.

Everyone wants to know how to ‘prepare’ their toddler for school. The answer is gentler than you would expect.

You do not need to teach them their letters or sit them down with worksheets. At 12 to 18 months, the most useful thing you can do is let them get comfortable in the kind of environment they will grow up learning in.

That is exactly what Montebabes is for. They explore the Montessori room with you right beside them, so school never feels like a cold drop into the unknown later on.

The bonus: you learn how it all works too, before you commit to anything.

Trial sessions start at $35. Tap the link in our bio to book.

Most mums I talk to want to try Montessori at home and feel completely lost about where to begin.

Here is the good news: your toddler is probably more ready than you think, and you do not have to figure it out on your own.

Montebabes is our little class for 12 to 18 month olds, and you come along too. It is the easiest way to see how Montessori actually works before your child ever starts school.

Trial sessions are $35 if you want to test the waters first. Existing Pink Tower families, your registration fee is waived!

Tap the link in our bio to grab a spot. Spaces are kept small so each child gets proper attention.

That went fast. Two weeks of Eric Carle, done.

The field trip, the messy crafts, the one story they would not stop talking about.

Watching them get this stuck into stories, painting and cookery has been the best kind of busy. This is exactly what the June holidays are for.

If your child missed this round, do not worry. A Bug’s Life starts Monday 15 June, and we will be sharing it all on our stories.

And if you are already thinking about next term, Term 3 enrolment opens soon. Give us a follow so you do not miss it.

If your child’s June is still one big question mark, this is your nudge.

Our first holiday programme, The Wonderful World of Eric Carle, wraps up on 12 June. Next up is A Bug’s Life, where the children get nose-to-nose with real insects, ask a hundred questions, and come home with stories you did not see coming.

It runs 15 to 26 June, for ages 18 months to 6 years. Sign up for the full two weeks or just the days that suit your schedule.

We keep every session small on purpose, so once a programme is full we genuinely cannot squeeze more in.

If you have been meaning to sort out the holidays, today is a good day to do it. DM us ‘BUGS’ to register.
